South Sudan can easily achieve what took many nations many years to achieve. However, the leadership has to move from survival mode (consolidating power around relatives) to self-sustainability (rewarding competence); the elites have to speak with one voice (peace, development, and service delivery). The current power struggle among the elites neither serve them nor the ordinary citizens - you cannot govern where everyone is plotting (whoever understands this will solve the South Sudan issue).
@siinchol I have resorted to such even though I am a naturalized citizen. My windows are tinted and all documents are up to date yet I refuse to drive because Arabi mafi and I get harassed. They need to go with a digital system to know that we've been stopped 4x in one day! #SSOX
@xevekiah It's not about a back up plan or safety net, it's yours period! You keeping it has nothing to do with him or your future with him. Shift your focus ... It's not about your relationship, it's about how your parents showed you love, care & support...not his to have an opinion on.
Senior Presidential Advisor Kuol Manyang Juuk has clarified his recent statements regarding the consumption of frogs, stating that while those with food may not need them, those facing starvation should not overlook any available resource - #SSOX https://t.co/H9fOL8mY21
The newly appointed Speaker of the National Legislative Assembly, Joseph Ngere Paciko, has pledged to accelerate the implementation of the 2018 Revitalized Peace Agreement, describing it as the essential roadmap for South Sudan’s unity and development.

@modernemeid I've been thinking about this for quite a while. Why I help some and not others and it definitely boils down to entitlement syndrome. I refuse when the ask is really an expectation and/or demand.
@KeruboSk Does it count if that's what I have always done? 55 years this year and have always been barefaced...like who does makeup or has time for it?!
I have just been in Bor for only 2 nights and I have seen dozens of Bodas carrying wildlife meat from the bush to town. Due to pressing economic times, soaring unemployment, and lack of govt relief, & welfare support people turn to wildlife & logging to supplement livelihoods😬.
As many NGOs keep offering aid year in year out, one organization is doing things differently in South Sudan. Inkomoko South Sudan (@InkomokoSSD) is touching lives across the country through empowering entrepreneurs granting loans instead of aid.
Led by a Rwandan national Mr. William Ngabonziza (@ngabowilly) as a Country Director, Inkomoko is teaching citizens to catch fish instead of giving them fish everyday.
South Sudan reminds one of the East African countries with exceptional amount of fish from the Nile, Sudd wetlands and the biggest exporter of fish to DRC, Chad, CAR, Kenya and Uganda.
I'm so excited to launch my latest project SONshine! A podcast that shines a light on the stories men rarely share. Come walk in the light with me!
