@AndrewWriteCopy Thank you so much Andrew.
Realizing this is one of those "aa haa" moments for me.
MRU also keeps the reader hooked about what is going to happen next.
It's like a curiousity loop if used consecutively.
Also, I looked up the book and the author is Dwight Swain.
THE SECRET OF LIFE
If you can bench press 50kg, is it your weakness or is it your strength? 100? 200?
If you can run for 5 minutes? Weakness or strength? 10? 5 hours?
If you know math. Weakness or strength? How well you know it?
You can talk to friends. Weakness or strength? Strangers? Geoups of people? Crowds?
No matter what you are capable of doing and how well you can do it, there will always be someone much better that you at it, and someone much worse than you.
So, how can you determine if it is weakness or strength? You can't objectively do it. But people determine it all the time — subjectively.
You can believe that something is your weakness and therefore will act indecisive and scared around it. The actual thing and your level doesn't matter, only your limiting beliefs do.
"But whether you are good at it or not matters!"
I'll tell you several stories. Listen carefully. If you understand this concept you will become brave and free.
We were walking with a friend of mine through the boulevard near the see in Batumi. I was approaching girls and having fun. He has never approached girls on the street in his life and believed he is very bad at it. As we were walking, I've noticed a very beautiful girl sitting on a bench enjoying the sunset. I said "Bro, your turn, go talk to her." He said he can't do that, it is his weakness. I said who cares, just do it. He said no. And while we were walking past her, she woke up and was turning our way. I grabbed him and pushed toward her the exact moment she turned. And she met him exactly face to face and looked straight into his eyes. He said hi. She replied. And they started talking. I was following them for 30 minutes, they were talking, laughing, touching each other. Then I went home. He wrote me later that night that they are in love. After a week they've married and are living a happy life now. Where was his weakness when he did what he wanted and succeeded?
Another one. I knew a guy who was from a village. He was strong and muscular, but not very smart. And he tried his best. His dream was to one day get to Hollywood and to play a role in a movie. But he was afraid and saying that he is not very smart and has no talent. He believed it is his weakness. One day, we were talking about dreams and he said that if not the weakness he has, he would be in Hollywood already playing roles in films. I said "Bro, who tf cares, you can just do what you want. It's not your job to limit yourself. Just do your best and the universe will decide what you deserve." And he did. In a year he went to LA and started participating in different shoots and even got into several serious projects.
Want more? A friend of mine wanted to study at Oxford University. It was a crazy idea because it is very expensive and he had no money. He was saying that he feels that his intellect is unique and that is the place he needs to be in. But his weakness was — he had no money. Once, during a walk, we were talking about destiny and possibilities. And we came to a conclusion that it is whatever it is and instead of complainimg and using reality as an excuse to limit ourselves, we should use everything to our advantage and do our best, always doing what we want. Whatever follows will be our destiny. You can already predict how the story ended, right? Yes, he somehow got a grant and went studying to Oxford for free. But what was even more hilarious is that he became a professor there and was working with Stephen Hawking.
And of course my own examples. Everything I wanted in live I believed I was bad at doing and felt like it was my weakness. And only after I became tired of limiting myself and decided to do whatever I wand anyway, I started doing and became good at in the process.
There are no weaknesses. There's only fear and doubt. Let it go and start doing what you actually want. Not what you believe you are good at, but whatever you love with your heart. It is your world — build it as you want it!
@AndrewWriteCopy Yes.
I have found some amazing headlines in instagram replies.
It is actually what people are talking about the product in their own words.
It is no less than gold.
Plus, we can also filter out by most likes on a reply.
