AHO & ADH
✅ AHO & ADH
KEA & Karnataka Government —

A double chin often develops from loose skin and weak fascia, which is the connective tissue beneath your skin that supports your muscles. As we age, the fascia and muscles under the neck aren’t used as much, which leads to sagging.
Each of these exercises targets a different layer of fascia and muscle to stretch, strengthen, and tone the neck area. Do each exercise for 30 seconds on a regular basis to see noticeable improvement.

Enjoyed today's morning run, which was jointly organized by Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad and Hyderabad runners.
Great support by @Marathon_Hyd volunteers; met a lot of fellow runners at start point and during the run.

Animals may not speak our language, but their presence touches our hearts in the most profound ways. As sentient beings and a true gift to humanity, they bring joy, comfort, and balance to our lives.
It is our responsibility to treat them with kindness, empathy, and care - to honor the quiet love and loyalty they offer unconditionally. Let us value and protect these beautiful souls, for they are not just part of our world - they are a vital part of its soul.
There is NO excuse for #AnimalAbuse EVER! 🚫

What has helped me remain the same weight ever since I was 20 years old is consistency. It's not just the weight, the question is - do I feel healthy, active, energetic and happy??
There is no point in having ideal weight if one feels ill or tired or unhappy.
I was 50 kgs before getting married and have been stable at 53 kgs after my kids.
What has helped me?
1) A goal: My goal is never to go beyond 55 kgs.
There is a ligament catch in my knee which hurts like mad when my weight goes beyond 55 kgs. I noticed this for the first time during my first pregnancy. And when I lost weight post pregnancy (less than 55 kgs) the pain disappeared.
This recurred in 2nd pregnancy, and disappeared again with weight loss.
So, my goal is not to suffer that pain again if possible. So, watching my weight is a breeze as my mind is already tuned to remain pain-free.
2) Keep myself active:
I keep myself active throughout the day doing something or the other. I go for my walks and runs, but more than these scheduled physical activities, what has helped me to keep my weight stable is to be active throughout the day, except when I am at work. I take my phones calls during walking, any other work that I do, I try and do it by standing or walking.
Cardio and weight training are good, but so is keeping oneself non-sedentary.
3) I eat when I am hungry. I don't eat just because it's time to eat. I eat a heavy protein rich breakfast as i have to go to work. I don't eat lunch in the traditional sense. I skip it sometimes, or I have a light lunch. I have the traditional dinner with my family.
4) I don't snack. If I have the itch to snack, I drink buttermilk or have a handful of nuts or have a cup of tea or a small fruit.
But, there is no urge to snack as such. I keep myself busy throughout the day that my mind doesn't go on snacks. I noticed that the days I am relatively free, mind wants to eat something. If I distract myself, the urge to snack disappears.
5) I don't stock junk snacks at home.
6) I fill my plate with protein first. Despite being a vegetarian, it's been easy to get my protein intake. My breakfast for last 10 years has been a Mixed legume dosa , with a fruit and a cup of coffee. My so called light lunch is a scoop of whey protein, a light vegetable salad and curd. Dinner is the usual rice, curry, dal, curd and paneer, spouts.
7) I eat a healthy balanced diet, there are vegetables, fibre, carbs, protein, healthy fats.
8) I focus on getting proper sleep. I wake up early.
9) Above all, there is no stress. My meditation takes care of this.
10) I spend good amount of time with family, spend time on my hobbies of reading, singing, gardening. All these keep me grounded and happy. Am away from mindless scrolling of internet.
It's this simple. The bottom line is consistency.
