What about people like me, and there are a lot of us, who agree with some things from both sides, and disagree with other things? Who got to decide that this side believes all of this, while that side agrees with all of that?
I hate the idea that one side can lord it over the other and force that side to live a miserable existence.
Why can’t we all find common cause, and work on solutions for things we are different on?
Why does everything have to be us and them, our side, our team……
We should have taught debate to all. How to argue both sides, and figure out a way forward.
All I ever see now is one side demonizing the other, and no one will even try to understand why the other side feels as they do.
Now it’s escalating to murder. This is insane.
