Passing of our father Dr. Debendra Pradhan has brought an end to an era of love, affection, care and compassion for our family.

Our father was a guiding light and a pillar of strength for our family. His loss has created a huge void and has engulfed us in immense pain and sorrow. As we adjust to the new reality, there is not a single moment that we are not reminded of him. The times we spent with him, the bittersweet memories reverberate within us. He may no longer be present with us physically, but his memories, teachings, values and principles will continue to guide us and serve as a compass.

We remain eternally grateful to all our friends and well-wishers who have stood by our family in these profoundly difficult times. Your prayers and presence has comforted us and has given us immense solace. May Mahaprabhu Jagannath bless you all.

ଏହି ଦୁଃଖଦ ଏବଂ କଠିନ ସମୟରେ ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କ ଉପସ୍ଥିତି ତଥା ଭାବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଆମ ପରିବାରର ଶକ୍ତି ଓ ସାହସ ବଢ଼ାଇଥିବାରୁ ଆପଣ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରିୟଜନଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ସାରା ଜୀବନ ଆମେ କୃତଜ୍ଞ ରହିବୁ । ବାପାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧା ଏବଂ ସମ୍ମାନ ଆମକୁ ଅତୁଟ ଶକ୍ତି ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଛି ।

The Hirakud Dam on Mahanadi, an engineering marvel, was dedicated to the country today in the year 1957.

The longest earthen dam in the world, it stands as an edifice of India’s engineering excellence. One of the first major multipurpose dam, it is a harbinger of water management, irrigation, flood control, food security, sustainability, economic growth and development in Odisha. As the Hirakud Dam rings its 69th birthday, sharing some pictures of it during its construction phase. Hirakud Dam over Mahanadi is not just a brick and mortar structure, it is the lifeline of Odisha!

Life comes full circle for Indian cricket in the West Indies. From our lows in the 2007 ODI World Cup to becoming a cricketing powerhouse and winning the T20WC in 2024. Very happy for my friend Rahul Dravid, who missed out on the 2011 World Cup win but his contribution to this T20 World Cup victory has been immense. I am so so happy for him.

What can one say about @ImRo45? Superb captaincy! To put the 2023 ODI World Cup loss behind and to keep all our players motivated towards the T20 World Cup is commendable. 

@Jaspritbumrah93's Player of the Tournament award as well as @imVkohli's Player of the Match award are both well-deserved. They were just superb when it mattered.

Along with Rahul, Paras Mhambrey and Vikram Rathour also made their international debuts in 1996. It was wonderful to see Team India excel under the guidance of this class of '96.
