I often get asked about why I'm so passionate about anti-aging and longevity research. I think about people like Arnold Schwarzenegger and see indomitable willpower wrapped in a fleshy shell that sadly is growing frail.
It makes the world so much more interesting having people be in their prime. If we can increase healthspan and lifespan, then we can have so many of these people around to inspire, create, teach, and challenge us.
I don't think it's a denial of death, but rather a desire to enjoy what makes life so good for a little longer since it's already too short.
