@dotterel When I was a student with noisy neighbours in the next room I used to play Vangelis' Beaubourg louldy and point the speakers to the wall. I quite liked it and could certainly go to sleep with it on.

Richard Anderson devoted his life to the lads of @bostongrammar School, aiming to give them as many opportunities as he possibly could.

@Kitty_B_Good @paulsinha I assume you know he lived at 10 London Road, not 20. The confusion is that the The Crown and Anchor moved at some point after George Bass lived there. 20 was demolished in 1970 and that's where the plaque incorrectly mentions him

If it was "effected" it would mean the services would happen only because the diversion existed. We assume you mean the diversion will "affect" the services (i.e. have an effect on; make a difference to).

@Coxiboi @BristolLive BristolLive was the site that prompted me to use an Ad Blocker. I’m happy for sites to present me with subtle, appropriate ads to help their finances, but BristlLive was in the forefront of sites offering inappropriate ads and ads which make it difficult to find real content.

@benjitweets86 @Samfr Not arguing for anything, just saying the tripartite system wasn't implemented. Secondary moderns were wrongly seen as the failure option and GS as more than an option for those with an academic slant. As for deciding at 11 - in our area there was flexibility for migration.

@nsandihelp Changing a Premium Bond account to reinvest (currently by warrant). Have provided nominated account and it is asking me whether to notify by email or text. I select email and continue then get "Error when calling the routine:" Account is still set to pay by warrant.
