Three female students of Ghana Senior High School (GHANASCO) in Tamale have developed and demonstrated locally produced remedies aimed at tackling the growing bedbug infestation in senior high schools across the country.
Using a combination of locally available materials and ingredients, the students have prepared different samples of the treatment and tested their effectiveness against bedbugs.
According to them, the various formulations are able to kill the insects within a few minutes, offering a potentially affordable and locally sourced approach to addressing the persistent bedbug problem in schools.
