Heavenly Father, our merciful and sovereign God,
As the pre-trial proceedings commence in the matter concerning the assassination of Charlie Kirk, we approach Your throne of grace with hearts that are heavy yet sustained by the hope we have in Christ. We bring before You the family You have entrusted to one another through the bonds of love and faith, asking that Your presence would be their refuge and their strength.

We lift up @MrsErikaKirk, Charlie’s devoted wife. Tenderly comfort her in this season of profound grief and legal process. Grant her the peace that transcends all understanding, guarding her heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Strengthen her with quiet courage, renew her spirit daily, and surround her with faithful friends who reflect Your compassion. May she sense Your nearness in every moment of uncertainty and find rest in the assurance that You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

We pray for Charlie’s parents and his sister. Pour out Your sustaining grace upon them as they carry the weight of loss while supporting one another. Heal their sorrow, Lord, and grant them wisdom and endurance for the days ahead. May their home be a place where Your comfort abides and where memories of Charlie’s life bring both tears and gratitude for the gift he was to them.

We especially intercede for Charlie’s two children. Protect their tender hearts and shield their innocence. Fill their lives with Your unfailing love, and raise up godly influences who will speak truth and encouragement into their lives. May the legacy of their father’s faith, integrity, and dedication to principle continue to guide and inspire them as they grow. Grant them joy in the midst of sorrow and the deep assurance that they are never alone, for You are a Father to the fatherless and a defender of the vulnerable.

We also remember all those who loved Charlie and were loved by him. Their lives were touched by his work and witness. Bind them together in support and shared faith. Heal divisions where they exist, and bring comfort that only You can provide.

In this time of seeking justice, we pray that truth will prevail and that righteousness will be upheld according to Your perfect will. We release every burden of anger or desire for personal vengeance into Your hands, trusting Your Word that vengeance belongs to You and that You will repay. May this process serve Your higher purposes. Bringing clarity where possible, protection for the innocent, and ultimately an opportunity for healing and renewed commitment to the values of faith, family, and moral courage that Charlie embodied.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of Charlie’s life, for the impact of his voice, and for the eternal hope we have through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Even in tragedy, we affirm that You work all things together for the good of those who love You. May Your purposes be fulfilled, and may Charlie’s memory continue to be a blessing.
