@boyney123 It would be great to get some of these insights globally and per team/domain/service... I was curious to know how you would calculate domain cohesion.
Separate question: can a Service span multiple Domains in EventCatalog? This happens with monoliths, etc
Amazon S3 now supports conditional writes
Amazon S3 adds support for conditional writes that can check for the existence of an object before creating it. This capability can help you more easily ... https://t.co/7CEhUc7Cj4
@VaughnVernon@ICooper Thanks both.
"Interchange context" is the concept I was speculating about but had failed to notice in the literature.
Have found some brief references online in https://t.co/AfEPZbawjC

@VaughnVernon Thanks. I've read your Strategic Monoliths book but not the DDDesign ones (have read Evans and Khononov). Is there a particular video that addresses the question of event name conflict? Or else where in your books this question is addressed?
Miriam Margolyes:
“What Israel is doing is wrong. It is wicked…
Voice your disgust and detestation of the Israeli actions.
Please, you are then doing the right thing and behaving in accordance with Jewish tradition.”
@jnceraulo@OwenJones84 Quietly mourning on the empty, abandoned platform from where members of my family were transported to their deaths in the 1940s. They included my uncle (14 years old) - an incredibly small generational gap.
I was the first member of my family to visit this place 70 years later.
I won't remain silent whilst my lifelong friend @OwenJones84 is smeared as someone who "disparages the memory of the Holocaust".
He once shared my intensely-personal moment of remembrance and has cited the need to remember the unique horror of the Shoah https://t.co/edvOnX7UMI
1/ I’m an Israeli academic. My community is too silent about the ongoing war in Gaza. Here is how I see things based on reading hundreds of articles and watching thousands of videos and images about the war. This tweet chain contains my conclusions as a sort of executive summary.
I talk a lot about the book, "The Culture Map" and realised I haven't published a page to refer to. Here's my book notes summarising key ideas from the book https://t.co/l6D1PHTZ1k
@johncutlefish Thoughts on Lean Value Tree (Vision > Goals > Bets > Initiatives) from Ch.4 of https://t.co/cZQLQHc6QG? Teams form at each G/B/I to define HOW, plus WHAT at level below: portfolio of experiments ranked by value:effort. Lag/leading customer value measures of success at each level
@al94781 Something I haven't tried but you could also aid classification of business problems by dividing the axis into Cynefin's Clear, Complicated and Complex domains. E.g. Is this business problem amenable to best practice, or does it require expert analysis or even experimentation?
@al94781 Very much inspired by using the term "business problem" interchangeably with "subdomain" when talking to higher-ups. Contrast with "bounded context" as *solution* space in which a domain model applies. There could be accidental complexity in a poorly designed/implemented solution
