Arkansas State - Scratch Action
Scratch = Screen on the catch (Screen + Catch)
Great way to change sides of the floor/shift the defense and get right into an action/play without pause. Puts constant pressure on the defense
There should be a separate AAU circuit called the “Zone 23” for all the teams who want to play exclusively zone defense.
Wonder how many college coaches would go 🤔
Nate Oats is one of the best Offensive Minds in Basketball, at any level
“It's not really hunting 3s, it's hunting efficient shots. And if you do your math correctly, 3s are very efficient if you get the right guys shooting them."

Footwork is the lifeblood of a basketball 🏀 player
You can play at a slowish tempo and still have a "transition offense."
It's just an organized way to flow into offense from defense. You can do that at 55mph or 155mph.
You would be shocked how often a slip out of a simple “Chicago” action is open
Would recommend adding a few plays like this out of a Time Out to get a cheap one
