@ian_rutson Peasholm and the Naval Battle is a great shout, and a hop over the road to North Bay Railway if there's any energy to burn remaining (there's a bunch of fun things on/around the water there). Recommend Watermark and Hideout Cafe's on that side too.

@ian_rutson And the hidden gems are to grab a picnic and relax in Shuttleworth Gardens (with secret fairy garden). Ice cream van close, and great coffee van (Yay Coffee). Or a day at Playdale Farm, for some animals and soft play!

@ian_rutson Best view (and a lovely cafe) up on Olivers Mount if you have transport. If you're on South Side, there's the obvious arcades - and Lookout on the Pier is a great cafe. Winking Willies is my fishery of choice with kids (good seating).
