Last night in Chicago, the Smashing Pumpkins brought out Greg Brady to sing “It’s a Sunshine Day” while Flavor Flav head-banged from the audience. This may be the most Gen X thing ever assembled on one stage.
@bryce_spalding Sure, gotta consider durability, but it’s not entirely that he’s injury prone, as his O-line has generally sucked, getting him hit more often than a QB with a good or even average line blocking for him. Those hits add up.
@Nicholaspkirby Friend of mine went to spring training game in Volquez’ first year with Reds. He was mowing down the Phillies best hitters, and as one of them walked past the next guy headed to the plate, shook his head and said “that guy is throwing some serious s#it.”
