@mara_yamauchi The federation of their own sport banned these athletes and informed the IOC. The IOC took no notice. This is wrong on every level. We must not let this rest.
@BBCNews why are you repeatedly asking why Huw Edwards wasn’t sacked? You cannot sack someone for being arrested. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Indeed nothing was found on the initial accusation. Once charged/convicted it’s different

@NickyAACampbell Just to put in balance, no company would instantly sack an employee who has been arrested. It could have all been false, innocent until proven guilty. They would have risked a wrongful dismissal case. They HAD to suspend until charged distasteful as that might be
@TVKev In any other job would you expect someone who has been arrested but not charged to be sacked? Lay themselves open to wrongful dismissal? Just because someone is accused does not mean they are guilty. Suspension is appropriate and no doubt HR and legal advice was sought
@CMSaunders01 The Police will be ensuring they gather all the evidence necessary with no slip ups to ensure a conviction. They have witnessed these awful events and will want to get it right. It takes time. All these heated lynch mobs don’t help bereaved families.
