@pasjc2001@_MasterDating @iichWONDER @willoneal619@Oh_Suzanney Maybe they are angry! If they practice Ayurveda, then they will know to take care of their excess pitta by eating cooling foods. Or use sandalwood and flower oils. But mostly, maybe they should take a break from Twitter. It’s not very good for your health! 😀
@_MasterDating@pasjc2001 @iichWONDER @willoneal619@Oh_Suzanney I use these sources because I have read them and understand the evidence they're drawing from. Responding to what I see as misinformation or exaggeration online is a little hobby of mine. I think debate (mostly) helps people clarify their thinking and improve their arguments!
@_MasterDating@pasjc2001 @iichWONDER @willoneal619@Oh_Suzanney They never had issues with Covid and still don't. We're talking about 7 people now and 57 at the height of their pandemic. Which was certainly well before vaccination.
@_MasterDating@pasjc2001 @iichWONDER @willoneal619@Oh_Suzanney So, basically, I think the idea of "every man for himself", "if you work hard for a healthy immune system you will survive" are the most Western ideas of them all.
@_MasterDating@pasjc2001 @iichWONDER @willoneal619@Oh_Suzanney And, like most humans, Ayush doctors have mixed opinions on this point - certainly some do not want to be vaccinated but others do. Some Ayush doctors are administering vaccines to patients.

@_MasterDating@pasjc2001 @iichWONDER @willoneal619@Oh_Suzanney I think we need to be careful not to infantilize the “non-West” here. Many historians believe that vaccines were invented in either India or China, likely before the 16th century.

@MontanaPenguin@shanelmontezlla@jhaskinscabrera Mortality rates depend on age and other factors, so general stats obscure the real impact of the disease. I like this way of thinking about it: "Getting COVID-19 is more than 50 times more likely to be fatal for a 60-year-old than is driving a car." https://t.co/thS6G2Xp03
@elmaestrokenovi@nathanmvance @StevieJ62927882 @DracoVonFaust @gervais_mg@clairlemon Also, we forget that vaccines aren't "western medicine". Their development is often traced back to 10th century China: https://t.co/9nTw0DLNyS
@AttorneyHulk@AGHamilton29@jtLOL Very true. That's one thing I like about this article. It is from a reputable source and the author starts by saying "it is understandable that people are apprehensive". Everyone likes to be heard and understood! But then you gotta hit em with the evidence 😉
