@aravind Green doesn't mean it is a forest. Nearly 40% of land in Tamil Nadu is covered by just one invasive plant, which makes the air hot and poisonous.
@marthandavelan Based on the language style, it is clear that it was written during the British era. However, since the original verses are not quoted, we can safely conclude that they were deliberately misinterpreted.
So, this can be ignored as colonial era propaganda.
