@StanfieldBrent1 Yeah no... You guys love the false god that they hate, and they have good reason to hate such a terrible picture of God. Luckily, the Bible definitely does NOT teach anything Calvinistic.
Am I the only one wondering why the “Catholic Pope™” seems so emotionally invested in the fate of murderous Islamist terrorists and Muslim invaders—while he rarely speaks out against the genocide of Christians in Africa and the Middle East, carried out by those very same people?
@realspeckzo The pope is not a real office. He is no more a representative of Christ than anyone else who claims to be a Christian. And he is very wrong about the death penalty.
@BeSaintly The pope is not an actual Christian authority. He's just the leader of a Christian denomination that has a lot of flaws and made up doctrine that should be rejected.
@ricdow24@mikeerwydd1968 You are literally insane if you think that, there is no point in anyone trying to talk with you. You would do society a favor if you would just hold yourself back from ever conversing with anyone else in public or any social media platform.
@10foreword@JesusSaves1500 That logic is insanely terrible and backwards... A wet sidewalk is not at all necessary for a rainstorm to exist. If a rainstorm happened, then you should see a wet sidewalk, just like if you actually have faith, then you should see good works that follow that.
@JesusSaves1500 No it does not. Of course water baptism is not required to be saved. We have Abrahams faith as a picture for us as Paul says in Romans 4, and he believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.
@KristanHawkins Don't be daft. The rulers have the authority to bear the sword and they do so as the servants of God, as avengers who carry out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. There is nothing wrong with putting a murderer to death, in fact, it's the right thing to do.
@MiscreaRichard The condemnation of an illegitimate leader of Christians must continue. The rulers are given the authority to bear the sword, and they do so as servants of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. They may be very encouraged to repent leading up to their death
@LifeWithoutLack@MikeWingerii No. The pope is wrong because both the Bible and his own predecessors, which he is supposed to care a lot about, disagree with him. That has nothing to do with politics.
