The 9/11 Memorial "Tear Drop" sit's directly across from NYC, in Bayonne New Jersey, just the other side of the Statue of Liberty, yet we hear nothing about it.

This beautiful, 100 ft tall monument was gifted to the people of the United States by the people of Russia in 2006, in memory of all those who lost their lives on that fateful day, September 11, 2001.

The breaking in the cracked façade forms the shape of the two towers.
The giant suspended tear drop signifies the tears of the entire world that day.

Maybe it's something that needs to be known, starting today.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 The Prince & Princess of Wales will visit the Isle of Bute on 17 September to highlight the power of community, connection & volunteering, & to celebrate the generosity & dedication of local people who give their time to support & care for fellow islanders.

This will be the first official visit by the Prince & Princess to the island, who also hold the titles of Duke & Duchess of Rothesay while in Scotland. The day will include visiting their namesake town of Rothesay & follows their visits to the Isles of Mull & lona last year.

During their visit, Their Royal Highnesses will undertake a series of engagements to spend time with members of the local community, including visiting the community-owned Anchor Tavern Pub, & hear how important small, everyday interactions are in building resilient & connected communities.

The Prince & Princess will also meet those working to protect the natural environment on Bute, an issue which is ‘close to both of Their Royal Highnesses’ hearts.’
