State-by-state trajectories of the virus vary widely. On this graph, the curves labeled 1d, 2d 3d, etc. mean doubling every 1 day, every 2 days, etc. Michigan & New Jersey look scary, California and Massachusetts look like they are clamping down & Washington turning downward..
We don’t need perfection. We need *speed*. (At least at the beginning.) Stay home long before it seems necessary. Convince whoever you can to do the same.
Sometimes we feel we can’t do much by ourselves, but humanity is made up of individuals; we can make a difference. As individuals we can influence our own families. Our families can shape our communities and our communities form our nations. Together we can make a better world.
