@Innercitygarden @SilviaGullino @CllrMajid Sorry, not to have been there. All the best laid plans and all that, but Storm Darragh has left us with a monumental clear up and other issues. Would have been great to have been there to give a big thanks to our groups and wish them all a Merry Christmas.

@SteveBown9 @WorcsBirding @EcoRecording Barnt Green not Bartley Green, Doh. So not Birmingham but close by. What direction was it heading? Towards Bittle Reservoirs?
@SteveBown9 @WorcsBirding I'd say White Stork. A pretty unusual record for Birmingham if it is. There are some breeding in the UK around the Knepp estate and I think in Norfolk. But probably not more than 20 seen per year. @EcoRecording
Amazing to see the transformation at Small Heath Park after @BhamCityCouncil contractors carried out a cleanup 💚
We need everyone to respect all of our open spaces - please don’t use them as a dumping ground as we don’t have the resources to keep cleaning up like this.
The wind and rain didn’t stop us from planting new trees in #Nechells ward🌳
Huge thanks to the fab @BhamTreePeople , who have helped us plant over 100,000 trees in the last 15 years 💚
Over the winter 100 trees will be placed in key locations to help benefit the environment🌳
Really enjoyable morning in the #Nechells ward with the brilliant @BhamTreePeople fab local ward member @BhamCityCouncil Chair of Sustainability and Transport OSC Cllr @LeeMarsham and residents planting trees that will benefit the people of Nechells for hundreds of years🌳💚
In Islam the planting of trees is regarded as Sadaqa Jaariya (ongoing charity)🌳
The one who plants trees will be rewarded for it as long as any living being benefits from it. Alhamdulillah 💚
Thank you so much to everyone involved🌳💚
@ikonic_exposure @BirminghamWeAre It's part of an art trail installed 15+ years ago now. Trainee artists developed a number of art installations gaining experience of public art commissions. This one was called " at a glance" internally was an angled mirror that provided a different perspective of the view.
@naomi_fisher@bhamconnected Definatley BCC parks ( checked our system). This is the uncut growth from around the trip rail so not picked up by main mowing gang but a follow up crew. Will raise it with the district park manager and GM team leader.
