THE OP IN TURKEY
As someone who carried the nuclear football and oversaw White House military operations, I can personally tell you this AF1 decoy operation was textbook high-threat contingency planning.
Credible Iranian assassination threat → POTUS boards the legacy 747 in full view of cameras → slips out the far side into a catering truck → transfers to the C-32A while the jumbo jet flies as a decoy with press and staff aboard who thought he was with them.
Slick. Professional. Exactly how these things are supposed to work when the threat is real. Follow the plan.
The only people who should be upset are the ones who leaked highly sensitive operational details.
That compromise endangers future missions and the President himself. @PeteHegseth needs to hunt that down hard.
Protecting the Commander-in-Chief isn’t optional, regardless of political views. I worked for Clinton just as hard.
Well done to the teams that executed this. Shame on those who jeopardized his life for political favor. 🇺🇸
