One of the five errors just got taken back

[Julio @sniper20657]

Grisham, Jones, Lombard, McMahon, and Jazz were all seen as defensive liabilities coming into this series. That is 5 of the 9 defenders on the field. In hindsight, we never really had a shot against the Rays.

[Julio @sniper20657]

@BronxBmbrz Ngl imma just settle for the 2024 WS appearance. I am genuinely fine with passing away of old age before the Yankees win another championship.

[Julio @sniper20657]

@BobbyMilone29 This is EXACTLY why the game 1 loss was devastating. It was a miracle to hold this Rays team to 1 run at the trop with this horrid defense. God I hope 2027 is a full lockout year.

[Julio @sniper20657]

3 errors in one inning, and a misplay that prevented a double play. There is something fundamentally wrong with this team that will NEVER be fixed without a complete coaching overhaul.

OUR DEFENSE FIRST THIRD BASEMAN FORGOT HOW TO PLAY DEFENSE

[Julio @sniper20657]

Jesus christ Luis Garcia Jr is absolutely lost at the plate

[Julio @sniper20657]

@BobbyMilone29 For the past 4 years we've seen our team on the brink of a sweep everytime they lose game 1

[Julio @sniper20657]

@YankeeLibrarian Everytime the Rays score first, we fall on our backs and our at bats become uncompetitve. We should have scored first.

[Julio @sniper20657]

@NeilKeefe Fun fact every Yankees playoff team since 2022 that lost game 1 ended up being 1 loss away from a sweep.

2022: Down 3-0 in ALCS
2024: Down 3-0 in World Series
2025: Down 1-0 in Wild Card
2025: Down 2-0 in ALDS
2026: TBD

Unacceptable

[Julio @sniper20657]

@RyanGarciaMLB I wasn't even as certain about us being eliminated as I am right now after last year's game 1 loss. Demoralizing offensive display.

[Julio @sniper20657]

@BigM818 @BobbyMilone29 I wasn't old enough to experience the 09' WS. The Yankees have essentially been losers my entire life.

[Julio @sniper20657]

@BronxBmbrz Strikeout after strikeout after fucking strikeout

[Julio @sniper20657]

@Yankees @StarrCompanies Same as Wc game 2 I like it

[Julio @sniper20657]

@TalkinYanks @SeatGeek 4-2 yankees

[Julio @sniper20657]

@wyermush He knows what he's doing

[Julio @sniper20657]

@rr2577 I only hated them during 2020 because of how unwatchable the games against them were. Also, their fans aren't nearly as annoying as Jays or Mets fans.

[Julio @sniper20657]

@FiresideYankees Boone said in his press conference that the roster will be announced tonight
