May I reintroduce myself?
My name is Àníkẹ́ Ẹwàadé Ọmọ́ríléwá. I am a true daughter of Oodua and an extreme lover of the Yorùbá Race.
I am a Yorùbá Nationalist and one who has the interest of my people at heart therefore I am supporting PBAT reelection because he's a Yorùbá man.
I will be campaigning back to back for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from now till election and I kindly request that as a follower of mine, you respect my choices in this campaign period.
I am the host of your favorite space, the @thecolspace where people air their opinions freely and their voices are heard without suppression.
In return, I will be respecting your choices and I hope we can all exercise our constitutional rights while being civil.
Ọmọ Yorùbá nimi ❤️🥰🎉
Cheers 🥂
Hi, I’m Olatoun Asake Yewande from Osun State.
In light of the campaign season, I’ve decided to publicly reaffirm my position: PBAT is the candidate I am supporting for the 2027 presidential election.
I don’t owe anyone an explanation for my political choice, but since some people who I hold in high regard have come to my DM asking if I support a particular candidate and whether I’m a supporter of a particular political party, I think it’s worth making my position clear.
In the last election and until late 2025, I had a different perspective. I supported a different candidate and, at the time, answered those who asked in good faith. But I’m an adult who thinks for herself, pays her own bills and, thankfully, does not depend on anybody’s daddy on X to tell me what to think. 🤭
So yes, I changed my mind and I’m perfectly comfortable with that.
I have looked at the other candidates. I have scrutinised their records, listened to their arguments and considered what each of them is offering Nigeria. After doing that, I have settled on PBAT.
Why?
Because whatever anyone chooses to say about him, his administration has actually taken some consequential decisions and implemented reforms.
The fuel subsidy was removed, ending a system that had become an enormous drain on government finances. The foreign-exchange system was unified, tackling the multiple exchange rates and distortions that had plagued the economy. The government has also pushed major tax and fiscal reforms, strengthened revenue collection and increased the funds available to states and local governments.
There has been significant investment in roads, highways, rail, housing and other infrastructure. Thousands of kilometres of roads are under construction or rehabilitation, while rail and port projects are being expanded.
NELFUND has expanded access to tertiary education through student loans, while the government has also introduced CNG initiatives aimed at reducing transportation costs and supporting a transition away from dependence on petrol.
The administration has also pushed domestic refining and investment in the oil and gas sector, supported agricultural mechanisation, expanded housing programmes, worked on the power sector and pursued measures intended to attract investment back into Nigeria.
Do I think everything is perfect? Absolutely not.
My support isn’t because I think Tinubu has magically fixed Nigeria. He hasn’t. Nigerians are still hurting, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. My argument is that I would rather support a government that has had the political courage to confront structural problems we’ve spent decades kicking down the road and then judge it on whether the foundation it is building eventually delivers.
For the first time in a long time, we’re having conversations about domestic refining instead of permanent dependence on imported petrol, state governments have more resources, thousands of kilometres of roads are being reconstructed, electricity reform has opened the door for states to participate more directly, over a million students have accessed student financing, agricultural mechanisation is being scaled, CNG infrastructure is being built and capital is returning to the country.
I am not supporting perfection. I am supporting a direction.
And, most importantly, I am supporting him because he is a Yoruba man from Osun State. ☺️
If that last reason offends you, please take it up with my ancestors. I have already made my decision. 😌
The campaign season is here, and I want to clearly and unmistakably state that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR is my candidate, and I will support him wholeheartedly.
Please, if you do not wish to see this, I kindly ask you, for the sake of what you value and hold dear, to unfollow or block me.
May God bless you as we mutually respect each other, and may God take away your most loved person or possession if you choose to harass, curse, or abuse me for my openly expressed choice.
Campaign for your candidate, and let me campaign for mine. Live and let live.
I do not hate you, but our choices may differ.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR until 2031.
SEYILAW.
@jidesanwoolu Dear @jidesanwoolu Lagos is dirty. Our Lagos is dirty, please do something. This not the Lagos I grew up to know. Heap of dirty on every median it’s getting worst. Driver around mile 12 and Kosofe give is an eyesore and it’s getting worst. Eko oni baje o
Crude oil is currently trading between $73 and $79 per barrel. The same price range at which we were buying PMS at just N900 per litre.
Can anyone explain why we are still paying N1,360 per litre for fuel?
If you are quick to raise prices whenever the market goes up, you should not hesitate to reduce them when it comes down.
Ori yin ti Daru !!! …Sit at home has been going on in Igboland for years, Obi did not stop sit at home before he declared to run for presidency but Yorubas will allow them to use a bread scoop to scoop their soup all because of what happened in OYO

To succeed...there must be anarchy and sympathy.... Release all the kidnappers, Bandits and terrorists.... in total, These anarchists released over 2000 hardened Cr!m!nals...
These protesters who called themselves freedom fighters Freed over 2000 criminals that took years to round up and are part of those terrorizing Nigeria today...

WHO IS YOUR LEADER?
Mandela produced Cyril Ramaphosa and Thabo Mbeki, men who went on to become Presidents of South Africa.
Abraham Lincoln produced Ulysses S. Grant who eventually became the President of the United States.
Lee Kuan Yew produced Goh Chok Tong and Lee Hsien Loong, men who bacame leaders od Singapore at their respective eras.
Mahatma Ghandi produced Jawaharlal Nehru and Vallabhbhai Patel, men who later became Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of India.
Paul the Apostle produced Timothy, Titus, Silas, men who became great apostles of faith.
Duro Ladipo, one of the pioneers of theatre produced Baba Lere Paimo, now theatre legend. Just as Pa Oyin Adejobi produced Babawande.
Archbishop Benson Idahosa produced pentecostal giants like Bishop Oyedepo, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, etc.
The Sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo produced Pa Bola Oge, Lateef Jakande, Adekunle Ajasin, etc, men who later dominated Nigeria's political landscape.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu produced Babatunde Fashola, Prof. Yemi Osibajo, Babajide SanwoOlu, Abike Dabiri, Femi Gbajabiamila, Etc... Men and Women who went on to become exemplary leaders of their various worlds...
Every true leader produce after their kind. Any idiot can gather followers, only a true leader produces other leaders. Leadership becomes immortal when it reproduces itself in others.
Anyone can command a crowd; only exceptional leaders can cultivate successors. Because your visions should be big enough to scare you; and must be great enough to outlive you.
Even Jesus produced at least 12 apostles to carry on with the vision.
Who is your leader? And which other leaders has he produced? Be serious with your life and choose you real leaders.
Good Afternoon Severally
Actually divorce doesn’t make a woman glow, it is self neglect that makes them not glowing while married, but after separation they feel they’re now alone, so they start to focus on their beauty to spite their ex, they start to work extra on their appearances, this should also be done while married, look good, dress well, prioritize yourself and be intentional about you.

My question is, why can't a Nigerian that is Igbo, born and brought up in Lagos, Kano, Calabar, etc, be a certified citizen of that place?
A Nigerian can become citizen in another country, run elections, win and lead. But that can't happy in Nigeria to Nigeria? Oyino nobi our problem, na we hate each other too much, for whatever reasons, and it's highly preposterous. Bitterleaves In High Places. God help us.

Dear Shan
You have stated it so simply that the undiscerning can easily agree with your type of thinking.
But wait a minute.
You are a Nigerian, ain't you?
Before then you are IBO judging from your accent, manners and style of thinking.
You will ALWAYS be IBO forever and ever. It wasn't determined by you but the circumstance of your birth.
What you can alter is your CITIZENSHIP but NEVER YOUR ANCESTRY.
When you as an Ibo woman go to the UK to give birth what you get for your child or children is BRITISH CITIZENSHIP and not ancestry.
That child or those children of yours will NEVER EVER be called or known as English and neither can they be Scottish, Welsh or Irish.
They will ALWAYS be BRITISH CITIZENS of Nigeria Ibo dissent.
And they can actually lose the citizenship of the English, Scottish, Irish or Welsh think they are constituting a nuisance on their lands.
The only place you have the kind of madness you dream of is in the United States and that is because the genocidal controllers of the United States STOLE THE ANCESTRAL LANDS of another people so they wouldn't mind and increasing population of people like you to join them maintain their hold.
In Nigeria the FACT of your birth or ancestry already guarantees you NIGERIAN CITIZENSHIP just as any other person from Ghana born in Lagos can get the Nigerian Citizenship of he some wishes.
It is very disingenuous and infact very wickedly criminal of you to say and deliberately confuse INDIGENESHIP WITH CITIZENSHIP.
INDIGENESHIP is tied to ANCESTRY. It is tied to land and long history of lineage, Ancestors , Spirituality etc
CITIZENSHIP is about the circumstances of your birth within the geographical expression of any country. It is a document which identifies your place of birth or choice of Nationality. It never confers on you Indigeneship status of any
tribe or ethnicity in that country, at least not automatically unless perhaps you have stayed and seen to have CONVINCINGLY ASSIMILATED.
So I ask you why do you as AN IBO WOMAN need to have YORUBA or any other ANCESTRY????
Why?
I know for a FACT that Ibos don't ASSIMILATE but try to REPLACE. Look at the Rhodes-Vivour family for example. Garnet Rhodes-Vivour came to Lagos as 100% Ibo man. He married a lady who was accepted as Yoruba. His first son was named Akinwunmi, Akinwunmi got Wale and Wale got the one calls himself Gbadebo.
Till today that Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour THINKS, ACTS, BEHAVES, SPEAKS AND EATS IBO. his mother and wife are IBOS..He openly identified with IBO IPOB, IPOB #EndSARS and IPOB Obidient Movement. He openly denigrates Yoruba leaders aans culture and supports anything IBO against the interest of Lagos.
Is that one a Yoruba or Àwóri man!
NEVER!!!
Is that what you want, the reason you need Yoruba INDIGENESHIP? You want to be IBO in Yoruba land to live Ibo culture, speak your Ibo language, influence our Demographic Social,Political and Economic balances and before we know it Yoruba land can become Ibo land?
You want to REPLACE US.
Onyeochi.
And it has happened before.
You did it against the IBIBIOS until Ibibio land is today's Ibo Abia State. You did it against the IJAWS until OPOBO is still a subject of serious acrimony between the two of you....\
ABACHA IS BETTER THAN DEMOCRACY ACTIVISTS - PETER AGULU-JESUS OBI
MY FIERY REACTION:
1. Abacha and Ken Saro-Wiwa: A friendship that ended in a Noose.
Abacha may have been a dictator to all, but to Ken he was first a friend. Ken laughed through his trial, confident Abacha would save him. But little did he know the game was lost before he knew he was playing. Ken was dealing with a merciless dictator he named friend.
"Does Abacha know?" - His final desperate words before execution. The answer came not in words, but in a signature. Abacha's own hand had signed the death warrant. When soldiers showed it to him, Saro-Wiwa cried "This must be fake!" A man who laughed boldly in court wept in disbelief at ink on paper.
The hanging was not enough. Abacha demanded erasure.
After the executions, the bodies of Saro-Wiwa and the Ogoni Nine were loaded onto a tipper and driven to a place called Bolokiri - where soldiers poured acid over them. Their bodies melted instantly, all nine of them dumped together into a single pit.
They were buried at night in unmarked graves, with heavy military presence preventing anyone from approaching the cemetery. For many years, the exact location of their remains was unknown to their families and the public.
Abacha did not just want him dead - it wanted him unfindable, his legacy untraceable, his path untrackable. A voice that had echoed across the world in fight for justice, fairness and equity, reduced to liquid in a pit with no name.
BUT WHAT WAS KEN SARO WIWA's CRIME?
Since Royal Dutch Shell struck oil on Ogoni lands in 1958, an estimated $30 billion worth of oil had been extracted. The Ogoni - some 550,000 farmers and fishermen - received little in return except a ravaged environment.
Farmland once fertile turned to contaminated fields. Uncontrolled oil spills dotted the landscape like puddles of ooze the size of football fields.
Ken's crime was asking: why should the land that feeds the nation devour its own children?
For demanding justice, fairness and equity for his people, Abacha arrested Ken, sentenced him to death by hanging, extinguish life from his body by the noose, and in death his body wasn't spared torture or given the dignity of final respects, his remains was dissolved in acid and his family left to carry the burden of a father lost for no just cause.
Ken Saro-Wiwa - writer, griot, conscience of a people - a man who chose words over weapons and paid with his life - Peter looked at this sacrifice, still wet with the blood of martyrdom, and called it worthless.
And if that were not enough sacrilege for one mouth to carry, he elevated Abacha - the butcher, the acid- pourer, the unmarked grave- digger - above every man and woman who ever raised a voice, risked a freedom, or lost a life for democracy, for a fair society, for a just Nigeria.
How desperately wicked can a Man be? How demonically inspired can Peter be? Must he be President if he does not possess the brain to prosecute his cause to a desired end? Why desecrate the struggles and sacrifice of our heroes on the altar of political desperation?
Peter - Hear this and let it echo through every corridor where your ambition prowls:
For this sacrilege, you will never become President. Not Vice President. Your name, if not mercifully forgotten, shall be spoken only in disdain and ignominy.
No evil of this magnitude must be promoted among us. No man who spits on the graves of martyrs must be handed the keys to the house they died to build.
2. ABACHA AND SHEHU YAR'ADUA
Shall I Begin?

Many people would have noticed that I was not as fiery as before when it comes to bigotry and tribalism, especially attacking some bad elements among the Igbos who will never stop denigrating the Yorubas and Yoruba land.
It’s because some people I respect reached out to me. You can’t deny the fact that there are some Igbos who do not support the madness of a few fools among them, and I toned things down.
But then I saw this post today and felt insulted. So with this kind of post, I’m announcing that I have fully returned to speaking strongly again. I can’t keep quiet and watch my tribe being denigrated and insulted.
I’m sorry in advance to those I might offend. But if you’re truthful to yourself, you won’t be proud of the post below. So I’m fully back.
As far as I’m concerned, Yoruba first.
