@Apple 's new SOS feature went off in my pocket, called 911, alerted 7 member of my family, terrorizing them. Because I use a screen reader, it took several minutes to turn off. This has happened to others. It's terrifying for loved ones and a burden on law enforcement. Shameful!
@NYCMayor@GovKathyHochul@NYCMayor We could also use a mayor who was less concerned about looking tough on crime (and filling downtown offices or abusing homeless communities) and more concerned with addressing the root causes of crime in this city.
@MissMariebee@cvspharmacy I tried to fill it in a store that wouldn’t answer the phone. When I picked it up, there was one pharmacist and one cashier. Phone was ringing off the hook, but they were too understaffed to answer it.
@cvspharmacy Have you ever spent 4 hours trying to simply fill a prescription? Have you ever had CVS Caremark threaten to hold onto your prescription until you coverage runs out, so they don't have to fill it? Welcome to my world. #cvs#unethical#disrespectful
@MissMariebee@cvspharmacy Sorry to hear that. As my insurer, they force me to use their mail order pharmacy or a CVS. I’m about to go on COBRA, which takes 6 weeks to kick in retroactively. They threatened to hold my Rx until my insurance temporarily lapsed.
Thank you @cvspharmacy Caremark for taking 3 hours of my day to fill a prescription and threatening to deny coverage of my prescription by waiting 5+ days to fill it allowing my insurance coverage to end. I really had nothing to do today, so you gave me 3 hours of frustration
@NYCMayor Nothing like a war in Europe to give the mayor of NYC a photo op. Maybe go to DC next and positive in front of a church holding an upside down Bible over your head.
@jadescipioni I think there’s a typo in your omicron vaccine article. Assuming the third word from the end should be surge not sure.
."… impact of an omicron-specific vaccine will be much less than if it were available earlier before the sure in infections," Moss says.
@qwertyabcxyz1 I think you’re more interested in bashing SF than you are in Narcan. It saves lives—people addicted after being put on opioids in the hospital, a kid who gets addicted or simply curious,m. Probably some of your neighbors kids. Your feeling is “let them die”?
@JamesD96103250@jennnotgin@qwertyabcxyz1@SFFDPIO Opioids are a national epidemic that doesn’t care if you’re in a liberal or conservative part of the country. Narcan is cheap, saves lives and doesn’t cause flooding. If, God forbid it affects your loved ones, you’ll change your tune quickly.
@tedcruz Umm. This is an image any 12 with old with a computer could make. Your a US Senator. Did you fact checking this before retweeting it. Did it stile you that your need to start with “Wow. If this report is true…” means you’re likely spreading misinformation? Do you even care?
Will someone please explain to me why — a year and a half after the whole country saw what happened when NYC was the epicenter of the pandemic — medical professionals like this are still pushing themselves to the brink because people won’t mask or vax?
I have worked 64 hours in 5 days. I work 23 tomorrow and 10 Sunday. We don’t have enough nurses to care for the amount of people we have. I’m completely burned out but can’t quit. These people need me. I just got married and have seen my husband for 4 hours since August 1st.
@FloridaDem2 Thank you so much for what you’re doing — in many cases for people who don’t consider the impact on healthcare professionals when they exercise their “personal right” to choose not to vax or mask. No matter how selfish people are, doctors & nurses still care for them.
@katehinds Any chance you could identify the friend I made yesterday outside the Brooklyn Botanic Garden? Was happily hanging out, and totally unconcerned that I was only about 20 feet away.
