@ludi_patudi It is considered standard medical practice and part of reproductive healthcare, yes. Saying it's not doesn't change that. The maternal mortality rate spiked in 2021 because of covid, then went back down to about what it was before. It's the highest in the developed world.
@blueflagblue@moorehn@Ninjamoffen I think it comes from a need to feel like you're better than someone. Whether that comes from self-hatred, or insecurity, or just ignorance idk.
@ludi_patudi Its reproductive healthcare. Many women have died from not being able to access this healthcare just in the past few years- bled out, become septic, had ectopic pregnancies that ruptured. Our maternal mortality rate was already poor for a 1st world country & its gotten even worse
@DemarcoMaura@solomonmissouri These laws are the ones playing games with womens lives. Women have died in hospitals because they're refused treatment, including for ectopic pregnancies. Probably more than are even reported, since some of the most restrictive states have disbanded or limited their maternal..
@Jbingd91@thetrueshelby ..That's the norm for them. They're very helpful and certainly don't just offer abortions. They do everything from birth control to wellness and preventative care, even some prenatal care.
@Jbingd91@thetrueshelby No, they don't. I went to planned parenthood when I was pregnant because I didn't have insurance at the time, and they counseled me equally on ALL the options, and were supportive of whatever I chose. They also make sure you're not being coerced into whatever choice you make...
@DemarcoMaura@solomonmissouri As I'm sure you know, the surgery is different because the embryo was in a fallopian tube instead of the uterus. It's still removing a pregnancy.
@SyedowB@DusksEmbrace94@designmom@CLloyd73389@carsonlawoffice Oh ok, you're being purposefully obtuse, or are simply retarded yourself. You replied to my comment which gave 2 very different scenarios and I asked which you called common sense, but I think I can guess which you were referring to. Have a good night!
@ludi_patudi@MimZReturnz@Cathy2NotToday Its pro-choice advocates fault the hospital delayed lifesaving treatment for fear of breaking the law? Is it pro-choices fault dozens of women have died because their pregnancies went septic & hospitals refused to help them? Do you listen to yourself because you sound ridiculous.
@UnkelDwain@InkMasterbator read it, or go to a parade. It's easy to avoid, much easier than avoiding Christian indoctrination. Christians in gov very vocally want to force conversion. There's a difference between wanting acceptance & forcing people live by the rules of a religion you don't even believe in
@UnkelDwain@InkMasterbator Like there's not majority if not exclusively straight characters in every show or movie? Lol. What's wrong with a children's book so kids from different families feel included. Children are naturally curious, not hateful. That shit is taught. Regardless, no one's forcing you to..
@CrippledQuack@johnennis@sappholives83@HOLLYTHEFIRST I kind of went down the rabbit hole on this story, I think because it's just so wild. A lot of different things about the guy were reported..I'm not super familiar with privacy laws in the UK, here they'd have published his name and photo everywhere, disabled or not.
