On 8 June, Baloch Missing Persons Day, we remember the thousands of Baloch men, women, and youth who have been subjected to enforced disappearance. Behind every missing person is a family trapped in uncertainty, waiting for a phone call, a court order, or any sign of life. Years pass, yet mothers, sisters, children, and fathers continue their search for truth and justice.

The pain of enforced disappearance extends far beyond the victim. Families are forced to endure endless suffering, emotional trauma, economic hardship, and the cruel burden of not knowing the fate of their loved ones. Children grow up without parents, parents grow old waiting for their sons, and sisters continue their struggle for answers. Their demand is simple and lawful: reveal the whereabouts of the disappeared and ensure justice.

We call on people across the world, human rights defenders, journalists, and international institutions to raise their voices against enforced disappearances. Stand with the families who have spent years protesting peacefully for truth and accountability. Silence only deepens their suffering. On this Baloch Missing Persons Day, let us unite in demanding an end to enforced disappearances and justice for every victim and their family.
