Thank you Mitchell Robinson for being one of one. I loved your singular style and watching you move like so fast for a person so big on defense and rebound like no other. You bled for your team and gave us something to cheer for. You lived through the rough times and built us into a championship team. This is how I’ll choose to remember you. Feel lucky to have witnessed it all.

New York could sign two players to a vet min contracts ($2.45M each), which would leave $3.8 millon for a third/final player (if they wanted to go right up the apron).
If they signed Jack Kayil to a second-round exception contract, his Year 1 minimum salary would be $1.36 million, creating an additional $1.1 million in space under the second apron.
However, @IanBegley reported earlier this afternoon that "the plan entering free agency" for Kayil is "that he play next season overseas with his current club in Germany."
Just in: Free agent guard Landry Shamet intends to sign a new four-year, $24 million deal to return to the New York Knicks, sources tell ESPN. Shamet's agent, George S. Langberg of GSL Sports Group, worked with Knicks executives on Monday to land the long-term commitment.

The Knicks, for a few thrilling weeks, reminded everyone that they are New York’s favorite team, with all five boroughs behind them — and Jalen Brunson is still processing it all. “I think the further I get away from it, the more I’ll realize what happened,” he said. https://t.co/lJn7tYgam1
Q "What is the one singular moment you'll be telling people years down the line?"
Mikal Bridges "Honestly for me, just the plane ride back…everybody being on the plane, bumpin music, we're all sitting in the front, all our team, reminiscing…long season, long grind…all the moments, the highs & lows…It was just dope to have everybody on the plane just talking about it, still drinking, enjoying the time, just us, before we all scatter & go about our lives this summer"
Karl-Anthony Towns to Jalen Brunson:
“The first day I got here and you welcomed me here to New York, I said I want to make sure I amplify you to a whole another level that you haven't even recognized for yourself. I want to be that partner in crime that you haven't had, and I want to make sure that every step of the way, anytime you go anywhere, you're never alone. You always have someone behind you that's ready to do whatever it is to protect you, to protect this city. And I only ask for one thing in return… (points to trophy).”
