@CraigHope_DM Is there any striker other than Sesko that would be deemed a suitable replacement to sanction a sale? There must be a line where they accept an unhappy Isak for 1 more season is the only option.
Keep flying the flag Kieran. Masters out. Remove the monopoly.
It’s not just the “Big 6”, non aspirational mid / low table teams can form a barrier from any lower tier aspiring clubs.
Without pressure & intervention we are heading towards a closed shop with no relegations.
The Premier League PSR rules are about as fit for purpose as a chocolate teapot. Chelsea FC Holdings made a profit of £128m in 23/24 after selling the women’s team to itself. The parent company BlueCo 22 (which owns the men’s team, the women’s team and…Strasbourg) made a loss of £430m in the same period as cannot include intra group transactions in the group accounts. Richard Masters keeps a straight face and says Chelsea have not broken any rules…because the rules on these types of deals are full of loopholes.
If I was Everton or Forest would be livid.
No celebration from Diaz. They treated him “incredibly” indeed despite no first team opportunities.
It’s almost as if City’s owners made illegal off the book payments to his family to set them up for life 🤨
Brahim Diaz: "My goal celebration? I am at the best club in the world, and I am very happy to be where I have always dreamed. I celebrated because of what we play for, but I am very grateful to City. They treated me incredibly." https://t.co/VYdgLNPsb3
@PMB28593434@19Darren89@NUFCgallowgate If didn’t qualify for CL or make any additional sales on top of Almiron that is likely.
If we did qualify and / or make additional sales that would create money that would more less have to be spent before June
@PMB28593434@NUFCgallowgate Not necessarily a lack of ambition more of a gamble from management. Longer term waiting until the summer is better if you think you have enough for CL without strengthening.
Buying someone for a huge fee now would mean need a significant sale before end of June .
@19Darren89@NUFCgallowgate Correct and that’s why it’s a gamble Newcastle don’t want to take. They want to be the buyer on the other side in June ideally.
Forest will accept that they will have to sell someone for a discount as the trade off for boosting squad in Jan to get CL over the line.
@NUFCgallowgate Wage bill is more relevant than raw transfer spend. Spending likely just before 30 June for a number of reasons:
- Vulnerable clubs
- certainty on European status
- More players available in summer
- Wages won’t m be paid in the 24/25 season calculation = more flexibility
@NUFCgallowgate Could be explained better. Those transfers are amortised for 5-8 seasons once contracts are extended.
Spend before 30 June will likely be to the level that Profit / loss matches the 21/22 season (Bruno year) .
What’s correct is the 22/23 Huge loss comes off calculation.

In August 2021 Andrew Rhodes assured the #footballindex community that Neil Macarthur left @GamRegGB voluntarily to temp at a Local Authority for a few months. Sounds like a great career move. The conclusion I drew from this was that Rhodes was lying!
On 11/11/21 @GamRegGB invited @fi_action to meet with Andrew Rhodes & Helen Venn. The meeting was 2 hours and the impression we got was that was the end of #footballindex as far as @GamRegGB were concerned. How wrong they were!
Thanks @josephmdurso . Any more on the big questions would be appreciated!
- Cole / Bohan et al not in jail? How?
- Andrew Rhodes brushing it under the carpet for the Gambling Commission
- FCA incompetence
- MPs not listening
- An administrator milking every last penny
🚨Exclusive: Football Index co-founder Adam Cole is behind a strikingly similar new football crypto trading website.
He is investor in and advisor to KiX which uses Football Index as 'proof of concept'. It's a "kick in the teeth" for campaigners.

So how did the #footballindex "Bohan Bounce" occur in January 2021? Was it increased sentiment with a new CEO and a promise to do things rather than talk about them? Of course not, it was good old market manipulation! So how was this able to happen?
As important and serious as bullying is in the workplace (seen it 1st hand) can any 1 explain how it takes 5 months to complete the report? When the independent report into #footballindex was completed in 5 weeks? @Royston_Smith@StuartAndrew surely it was a more complex subject?
