@ArthurBoreman@ScottCTomo88 The facade has nothing to do with the soul (also that image is about 10 years old, the facade has changed). Take a look at how the stands look inside the ground.
@ArthurBoreman@ThatGuyCai_ Only that's where the soul of the stadium comes from. There's a unique character to the stadium, look at La Bombonera or Bernabeu before it became a tin shed. San Siro is another one. Hell, the Azteca is being used in this very World Cup as an example.
@deadpollux No soul means history and liveliness within the stands. Like some of the US Baseball grounds. Just because a stadium is modern doesn't mean shit if you're 30 miles from the pitch, in a stadium that's in the middle of nowhere because 3/4 of the stadiums land is car parking.
@daleando86@Joel_M_C1998 I'd say there was one difference: Blatter actually liked football. He was a corrupt bastard but his corruption was never in ways that made the sport worse. Infantino doesn't give a fuck, and would change the rules for an ad break every 10 minutes if he could.
@Markafc87@TomRobbo1999@HLTCO Hahahahaha fuck off ๐ Going cold turkey is legitimately deadly for alcoholics and he said he done it with no issues at all? Sounds about right for Talksport
@Rockntroll4life@owenjonesjourno@Steve_Laws_ Only having English blood isn't enough for Steve, even folks with foreign ancestors would be deported if he could have his way, he's said so in the past.
@oli_shields@bphillipsonMP A lot of the parents using this scheme will be working parents. As in order to get into work on time, and keep their job (to keep paying tax), they must also take their kids to school earlier
@chameleon7six2@bphillipsonMP The answer for why is really simple, jobs start at a similar time to school. This means if you want to keep your job by being on time to work you have to take your kids to school earlier. If you want people to be employed and having kids then you need to make it easier to do that
