UGC Tip of the Day: Don't hold your breath on these "UGC Opportunities" you see on Twitter. 🙅🏻‍♀️

It's so hard to weed out the fake ones, and if you focus on applying to those opportunities, you will just get disappointed every. single. time.

I'm not saying that they are ALL fake, and I'm not stopping you from applying to those tweets, heck, I still submit my portfolio whenever I come across something I like + the person tweeting is someone I know.

Focus your precious energy and time somewhere else.

What you should be doing instead: POST YOUR PREVIOUS UGC WORK, I'm telling you - this is HOW I've been getting inbounds on this app. I RARELY pitch anymore, but I just focus on posting valuable content + my sample works!

I choose to spend my time in nurturing my own profile + community, rather than chasing after "UGC Opportunities" from sketchy accounts.
