@hhpapazian @Life360 It means they sell electric stove coils. 😉

[Brandon Buerkle @societyoffonts]

We’ve raised over half the goal! That’s amazing! Thank you so much to everyone who’s given and shared.

Even if you can’t give, if you can share this link around it is a big help. Thanks!

@EvaSilvertant Wow! That’s hard work. Well done! 🥳

[Brandon Buerkle @societyoffonts]

@EvaSilvertant Thanks for being wonderful! I appreciate everything you bring to social media and the design community. 🤗

[Brandon Buerkle @societyoffonts]

@EvaSilvertant No good. I think the whole collection is being sold on Retro Supply, so maybe the site is defunct?

Anti LGBTQ laws in the US aim to support "the rights of parents" to determine their child's exposure to LGBTQ issues (which is bullshit). But by that logic, we should adopt anti gun laws to support the rights of parents to determine their child’s exposure to getting shot.

[Brandon Buerkle @societyoffonts]

@ultrasparky Thanks! (Adding to my own collection and live in the PDX area, so this is helpful.)

[Brandon Buerkle @societyoffonts]

@ultrasparky Who inked ‘em?

[Brandon Buerkle @societyoffonts]

@JillFeig @RavenMoDesign I could totally see this with a variable width on the “tails” so they could frame a pull quote responsively. 🙌

[Brandon Buerkle @societyoffonts]

@porterfolio Maybe try combining the paths rather than grouping? (Not sure if that will work, but it may make Ai treat them as a single element.)

[Brandon Buerkle @societyoffonts]

@djrrb @visualgui I love this so much!

@swelltype Most fonts are doing their job when unnoticed. But some typefaces are meant to be noticed. There’s puzzle appeal” when type is calling enough attention to itself to be a puzzle people want to solve, but not so difficult that they give up in frustration.

[Brandon Buerkle @societyoffonts]

@swelltype This is super fun! I’ll be interested to see where it goes. It has what I’d like to call “puzzle appeal.”

[Brandon Buerkle @societyoffonts]

Proud to be the 17th 🦄 on @BackerKit for a new W. A. Dwiggins book! Athalinthia stories and pictures. Thanks @WADwiggins https://t.co/mcoG4vyiXV

I understand what they’re trying to accomplish here. But going to extremes is rarely the right idea. 5/5

[Brandon Buerkle @societyoffonts]

I’ve heard this adage plenty among the “hustle” crowd. It seems like a great way to become a terrible person.🧵 1/

You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.

That’s why every quarter, I evaluate myself and my friends on 3 key criteria:

- Income
- Fitness
- Influence

Anyone who scores below me is cut off.

Complacency is the first step towards mediocrity.

[Brandon Buerkle @societyoffonts]

This way of thinking dismisses so much, it loses out on so much, and it’s a good way to diminish compassion and curiosity. 4/
