@ChadLiara I don't really think there's a lot to be said either way here, I think you should be able to make short games if that's what you want to do, but there's no good way to control this type of behavior without the potential for additional abuse.
@wreckmyshit@read_jfk_files You can't be serious. You trust this to run daily on your machine and youre confident that the chatbot didn't miss anything?
@bengreengiant@ProtonVPN At the time (2015-2016) it was the best audio quality, you didn't have to mess with hosting anything, and it was free. We were bouncing around from vent to teamspeak to raidcall and once we joined discord we never looked back. There's still not really a competitor.
@coolay91@BeanJuiceStudio@valvesoftware People have asked in the discord and all you do is flame them and claim the same 2 or 3 BS reasons while yourself providing 0 evidence. Concept art? Early renders? Game design documentation? Git history? Any of this would have made it easier for me to believe he made this game.
@polredra@StarfighterInt1@HomieSanto I've got the entire repo as a zip file with the original unobfuscated JavaScript and css. I'm not sure of the best way to let people take a look at it, I can post screenshots here on Twitter of code blocks when I'm back at my PC
@HomieSanto Yes and I will be the first to admit I am doing my fair share of crucifying this guy but he's trying to prey on people's sympathy for indie devs and it feels gross. If you're honest about the use, what's the problem? At least then people can make an informed decision.
@StarfighterInt1@HomieSanto I have receipts. I am this internet mob of which you speak. I can't say for sure whether or not the game is vibe coded without seeing the unedited source code. But I am under the belief he's a grifter. I can start posting if you want
@AIOnlyDeveloper@BeanJuiceStudio "this includes the game itself, the storepage, and any steam community assets or marketing materials. I and other negative reviewers are asserting that at least the UI elements and player facing text, and at most the entire core design for the game was generated using an LLM.
@BeanJuiceStudio here's a screen cap of the UI because nobody's posted one yet. To me, the design choices are really similar to other games I've seen made with Claude Code. There's so much information on the screen but so much of it is irrelevant. I think the dev should explain his design choices
