The Kids Online Safety Act is back in Congress, rebranded as child protection while quietly expanding the pressure on platforms to police “harmful” content. On paper, it targets mental health risks and dangerous material. In practice, it hands regulators and state attorneys general more leverage over what platforms allow to circulate.
That means more algorithmic suppression, more over-moderation, and more political speech getting buried to avoid liability. Pro-Palestine content, anti-war organizing, and dissenting narratives are always the first to get flagged when compliance becomes the priority.
This is how censorship evolves in America. Not with a dramatic ban, but a bill poised to be for your “safety”
do NOT donate to this group. they work with the regime. that juniper onion person retweeted one single post from this group, said she donated, and then didnt talk about venezuela again.

Serious talk, you guys. It doesnt matter where you come from, what you do, what your political beliefs are.
The fact the KIDS Act has passed means that the government has failed us on a level rarely seen before.
Dystopia really is closer than we thought, and already I was starting to hate this country for what its become since 2016, the peak of my time. Even if I was 13 back then.
I urge anyone and everyone to spread the word.
Mark my words, it wont be me, but people will die over this. Its not about protecting the kids.

I'd like to add my two cents:
Be a parent your kids trust. Teach kids about the dangers online.
feeling like a burden when I wanted (supervised) online access as a kid and "internet bad" being the safety talk we had as a teen was what lead to me being closed off and rebellious.
Getting children and teens to quit compulsively using social media is a goal that can be achieved without a mandate from the federal government.
But that would take time and effort, and these people want the "easy" solution, not the correct one.
4 days ago, the House passed the KIDS Act, a bill that forces platforms to verify every user's age. That means digital ID checkpoints, facial scans, and behavioral profiling for all internet users.
This won't protect minors.
It will only kill privacy and sterilize the internet.
Isreal dropped the largest non nuke on the south of Lebanon on the 29th, the people in Lebanon are suffering please dont stay silent about this and speak up
The House just passed the KIDS Act, 267 to 117. To "protect kids," platforms would make everyone verify their age by handing over a government ID or getting their face scanned. It's in the Senate now.
We have a few tools to help people push back...
"Empowering parents when it comes to their children's technology" while mandating ID age verification is contradictory.
By forcing everyone to submit government IDs and AI facial scans, you are not letting parents and guardians do their jobs.
It literally cannot be more obvious that this bill is pro-big tech and anti-kid’s safety.
Our politicans are throwing EVERYONE’S safety and Constitutional Rights under the bus for a paycheck from Big Tech comps.
KOSA Is Back & They’re Silencing Those Speaking Up
KOSA is back, it passed the House, and now the Senate gets another shot at doing what this government does best: pretending to protect kids while handing censors, lobbyists, and unelected bureaucrats more power over what the public is allowed to say and see online.
If you think that sounds dramatic, I am literally being silenced on TikTok for speaking out about it.
Please stand up and make some noise while there’s still time.
