I read the Broken Earth series last month and came away disappointed. The first two books of the trilogy won the Hugo Award, which usually means they are tough to put down.

@HEELSchoeneck @PVBrett If you haven’t read the Mistborn Trilogy then that should be the next thing you read. Anything by Sanderson is pretty good. Others I that I like are The Powder Mage Trilogy and the Gentlemen Bastards series.
