1. More leaked audio from Alan Scott’s #DwellingPlaceAnaheim’s Pastoral Meetings. In it, Alan Scott says he has dominion over ALL of the United Kingdom and is able to have pastors do whatever he wants there. This is how he views himself and speaks to other pastors about himself.
@LifeWithoutLack@realprophetguy He’s been to Anaheim & CCV (both vineyards, Alan’s churches) this was a response to the idea that many pastors will take a platform / $ from churches & platform abusive pastors but when there are allegations they plead they don’t speak anymore. That’s my issue with Tim Hughes.
This was how so many acted about Alan Scott’s spiritual abode and sexual harassment allegations. Sorry to say, but Matt & Beth Redman, Pete Greig (who was literally on his board), Tim Hughes, and so on…. No one demanded a third party investigation they “haven’t been connected”.
It's funny how these guys are all spiritual fathers & sons, claiming & promoting each other, but as soon as it's time for accountability, they're all "🤚 not my jurisdiction" & "✌️I haven't been connected to him for years."
#churchtoo
@LifeWithoutLack He's platformed Alan Scott & has been a speaker at numerous of his conferences. He was aware of the spiritual abuse by ex staff, yet again when push comes to shove, they’ll take an honorarium and a stage but won’t speak up for those in the congregation of that same church.
It’s been 976 days since Alan Scott unilaterally INFORMED the Anaheim Vineyard that HE alone had decided to withdraw from the Vineyard Movement, which that church had been instrumental in forming.
976 days.
Make no mistake, Alan Scott’s decision was calculated long before such a decision was made public and, likewise, his spiritual abuse goes back DOZENS of years prior to this travesty.
And of course, the usual “apostolic” leaders who, privately, state that they don’t agree, continue to support his abuse by remaining silent. Cowards… all of them.
As his church continues to shrink and the spiritual abuse continues to infiltrate those poor souls who have, at this point, continued to align themselves with his cult, I continue to pray for God’s justice to occur and for his negative influence to be removed.
In addition to his spiritual abuse of countless numbers of victims, Alan Scott continues to preach heresy, tear apart the Body of Christ, and misrepresent everything foundational to the “everyone gets to play” vibe that was instilled so strongly in that church for decades. The cult of personality that he has going on is such a disheartening thing to watch unfold.
And yet the cowards continue to coward.
@lukegeraty Looks like their sources aren’t legit. Also they came out and said this wasn’t true and that would be illegal. Seems sadly like gossip and the reason why these things are so divided. https://t.co/yfhNL5nvzp
@JobKaper Agreed. So much accountability and healing could have already happened if there was responsibility taken by these ex board members and leaders.
🧵1. Well, JP Moreland, @biolau theology professor & prominent voice in the Church, has explained why he left Dwelling Place Anaheim stating that Alan Scott’s sermons are heretical & he does not believe Christian. This is precisely the outcome of a church who has shown
Here it is, heretical teachings by @Alan_Scott, according to Christian philosopher J P Moreland.
To all those who remain in Dwelling Place Anaheim, wake up, your soul is in danger in the hands of this false leader.
@iwonabednarzpl@mrvaldez__ @jpmoreland @Alan_Scott 3. Alan is an abusive pastor who is not a Christian. His ministry does not and has not for some year produced the fruit of the spirit rather, lies, deceit, greed, and wickedness.
@iwonabednarzpl@mrvaldez__ @jpmoreland @Alan_Scott 2. He has become more sure that confessing Jesus is lord does not mean you are going to Heaven but rather you need to be a Christian by his definition. 🚩, I hope if you go or if someone you know goes they leave soon.
