@Snauu0n @Lagom_m Tbh I don't question their love and I don't think it only for gratitude he is emotionaly attached to her and he is lost and sad he don't know how to deal with him lossing mido. It's just identity crisis that they both facing affecting their relationship .

@Lagom_m I don't think he is only attached to mido for "the gratitude" but I think he truly loves her but he is sad and lost . Mido too but sua will bring new energy she will male to prioritize and love himself before sacrificing himself for others like always. He is the most complex tbh

namgung and mido do love each other. sharing a deep childhood bond doesn't mean their relationship was built out of pity. they only started dating in their twenties after that romantic love blossomed and their love was filled with passion and romantic attraction.

over time however, that love simply evolved. it grew into more comfortable form. after ten years together, what began as a passionate choice has matured into a steady relationship where they hold each other’s history, flaws, and silent burdens.

namgung and mido know each other better than anyone else, but that mindset became their biggest trap. assuming they always knew what the other needed, they kept making sacrifices on each other's behalf without proper communication. in the end, their silent sacrifices only consumed them.

now as they are facing the worst crisis of their lives alongside an unexpected variable, they’ve hit a breaking point. In their current state, what they need most is space and absolute honesty. they need to step back, confront the unsaid, and figure things out.
