Last week: the @FBI's Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG) and the Bomb Technician Memorial Foundation hosted the annual Bomb Technician Memorial Ceremony on the campus of the Hazardous Devices School in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Bomb Technician Memorial was dedicated on April 16, 2007 to honor the legacy of fallen bomb technicians and their heroic work to protect our citizens and the homeland.

This year’s ceremony drew 150+ participants including distinguished guests, interagency partners, members of the bomb technician community, industry partners, and most importantly - the families of honored bomb technicians who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

The memorial displays 22 honored members – including the four names added this year, one from the FBI and three from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department:

LASD Detective Joshua Kelley-Eklund
LASD Detective Victor Lemus
LASD Detective William Osborn

Never forget these heroes, their sacrifices, and the families and friends they left behind.
