My goal is to work at sea world or maybe the Birch aquarium while I work as a veterinary assistant. I've worked multiple jobs at the same time before (I am working multiple jobs right now), two jobs don't seem too bad (2/2).

This unit has taught me that I need more job experience for vet school (I've been researching more and more about vet school). I'm going to change the job posting I will be responding to. (1/2)
@nickytalper I agree, because of this I just chose to do the resume option instead. You've got some computer/social media skills though since you were able to tweet this ๐
I'm not sure (for this assignment specifically) if I should write my resume and cover letter as if (pretend) I am qualified for the job posting I listed or just make a cover letter for the job I have now.
#RHUB305 I don't think I would go straight to Vet school after graduating, I want to continue my job as a vet assistant. The next step for me is to get licensed as an RVT but I either need schooling or pass the VTNE by myself. The job posting for an RVT:https://t.co/hhkipsdLuq
I definitely have to make my resume shorter. My resume is two pages and a quarter long. I can make my font a little smaller and shorten the list of duties. I can also emphasize certain things using italics or capital letters #RHUB305
@MarkMar97109382 Yeah, the text was definitely a wake-up call. It's hard to adapt to things being remote and virtual. Nobody is sure how long we will continue to do everything virtually. Maybe think of the advantages you have now such as saving money on transportation and saving time in your day.
#RHUB305 I think the Complete Guide to Getting a Job for People with Asperger's syndrome applies to anyone regardless of whether a person has Asperger's or not. I found the guide insightful and took a mental note of the contents of the checklist. It is worth the read!
I still kept applying for many animal hospital locations. It's true that employers will keep talent in mind because once October hit, I finally got a veterinary job after 6 months of waiting and reapplying.
#RHUB305 For me, COVID-19 made it hard to find a veterinary job, I was working jobs that weren't related to my field and wouldn't help me get into vet school. Even though I believed that I would not get a job in a veterinary clinic because of the pandemic ... (1/2)

In regard to how my research paper is coming along, I'm mainly just having issues trying to organize my thoughts. I'm struggling to find good resources using the SDSU library and in general.
@MartinMansoor1 Interesting! Maybe include what type of videogames help children obtain this ability. Or maybe how often do children play videogames each day or each week so that this is true.
My main claims for my paper: Pedigree dog breeding is unethical because it contributes to the overpopulation of dogs in the U.S. and it leads to health problems in dogs down the line. (1/2)
Sub-claims: Overpopulation results in homeless dogs and euthanasias. Health problems are due to inbreeding which can cause bad genes to be passed on, a decrease in genetic diversity, and breeding operations are often not sanitary, leading to sick puppies and dogs #RHUB305 (2/2)
#RHUB305 The negative evolutionary effects of commercial dog breeding and backyard breeding is going to be a big component of my research paper. The then and now picture shows Boxers have shorter faces now which means, they became a brachycephalic breed (have breathing problems).
