Junkyu writes a heartfelt letter for TREASURE MAKERs, following the news of his hiatus.

"Hello, TREASURE MAKER! This is Junkyu.

I've spent a long time thinking about how to begin this letter, and I'm writing it with the hope that my sincere feelings reach you.

It's already been six years since TREASURE debuted in 2020 and began this journey together with TREASURE MAKER. During that time, I've received so much love, and every moment has felt like a miracle. I've truly been happy.

But as I kept moving forward and doing my best, I think there came a point where I gradually overlooked the signals my mind and body were giving me. I always wanted to show you only my best as a professional, so I've been trying to convince myself that I was okay. However, I've come to realize that now is the time for me to pause and take care of myself.

After having many discussions with the company, I've decided to temporarily suspend my activities and take some time to rest.

To our TREASURE MAKERs, who have always been my greatest source of strength, I'm deeply sorry for worrying you with this sudden news.

Still, I believe this pause is necessary so that I can return as a healthier and stronger version of myself. I'll take this time to rest well, organize my thoughts, and come back as my true self.
