Applied for 3 LFX Term 2 projects.
2 were for KubeStellar under CNCF - both withdrew from the program. Still don't know why. I was the second highest contributor on their leaderboard.
1 was for a Hiero GitHub Workflow app - got selected for interview out of 150 applicants. Final 5. Interview went well, the mentor said so herself. Still didn't make it.
That's my LFX Term 2 experience. See you on the next one.
My first paid gig just hit different.
Since Jan, I've merged 25+ PRs across the p5.js ecosystem just because I loved the problems.
Never thought it'd lead here.
Grateful to receive a microgrant from the @ProcessingOrg at 19. ❤️
BioStack (@getbiostack) builds simulation environments where healthcare AI models practice on real clinical data.
Messy records, lab tests, notes, outcomes unfolding over months— BioStack turns that into a post-training loop: data, evals, rewards, benchmarks.
They've grown from six figures to seven figures in revenue in just the last few weeks.
Congrats on the launch, @sanatmishra7 & @patwa_parth!

got rejected in gsoc, got offered a microgrant in the same space a few days later 🥲
still just a first year undergrad learning and figuring out, but getting to contribute to p5.js and work on webgpu with open source stuff has been really fun.
small wins, long way to go 🚀
