Here's today's interface design 👇
A tab bar that reads what's under it.
Each icon picks black or white from the pixels behind it, every frame, while you scroll.
Photos, posters, theme switches, video, chat.
No JavaScript. One backdrop-filter and a mask.
(Link in comments)
The trick: the icons aren't drawn, they're a filtered view of their own backdrop.
blur → averages what's underneath
grayscale → reduces it to brightness
contrast(40) → snaps it to black or white
invert → flips it
Then a mask cuts that into icon shapes. Where an edge passes under a label, it splits along it.
@khyatimaloo I hope you go to BlackMarket Coffee.
It was an absolute favourite.
Cute little coffee shop with the best collection of beans i've seen anywhere.

Pass this repo on to Claude.
Pass my design or any other you have in mind and ask it to make it.
It will do it step by step.
That's literally what I did. :)
@13_T_C@wesbos That's okay man. I get your trail of thought about ownership and stuff but at this point I'd trade it for convenience and personalization.
