🔸Woman’s life saved through timely intervention!

During his morning walk, Assistant Sub-Inspector Pansare of Powai Police Station noticed a 65-year-old woman attempting to jump from the fifth floor of a building within the jurisdiction of @VikhroliPS. Acting swiftly, he alerted the Control Room and, with the coordinated efforts of Police Inspector Gadade, Police Personnel Sudham Binnar and MSF Jawan Rathod, ensured her timely rescue.

The woman was safely rescued, counselled and provided with the necessary guidance.

@VikhroliPS परिसरात एक ६५ वर्षीय महिला इमारतीच्या ५ व्या मजल्यावरून उडी मारून आत्महत्येचा प्रयत्न करत आहे, असे मॉर्निंग वॉकला जात असलेले पवई पोलीस ठाण्याचे सहाय्यक पोलीस उपनिरीक्षक पानसरे यांच्या निदर्शनास आले. त्यांनी नियंत्रण कक्षाशी संपर्क साधला आणि विक्रोळी पोलीस ठाण्याचे पोलीस निरीक्षक गडदे तसेच अंमलदार सुधाम बिन्नर, एमएसएफ जवान राठोड यांची मदत घेऊन आवश्यक कार्यवाही केली.

पोलिसांच्या तत्परता व समन्वयपूर्ण प्रयत्नांमुळे महिलेचे प्राण वाचविण्यात यश आले. त्यानंतर तिची समजूत काढून तिला आवश्यक मार्गदर्शन करण्यात आले.

🔸 Under the 'Ati-Utkrisht and Utkrisht Seva Padak' and the Police Medal for Meritorious Service 2026, as announced by the Government of India, a total of 433 Mumbai Police officers have been honoured for their remarkable and outstanding service.

197 officers were awarded the 'Ati Utkrisht Seva Padak,' 230 officers were awarded the 'Utkrisht Seva Padak,' and 6 officers received the Presidential Medal for Meritorious Service.

🔸 They Went Underground. Our Investigation Went Deeper!

@SamtaNagarPS have arrested 13 accused in connection with the theft of MTNL’s underground telephone cables at Ashok Nagar Cross Road No. 4, Kandivali (East), Mumbai.

The stolen property comprised four 2000-pair underground cables, measuring approximately 153 metres and valued at ₹9,00,500. A case was registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Telecommunications Act, 2023, and the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984.

During the investigation, police seized a JCB machine worth ₹20,00,000 allegedly used in the offence and two mobile phones worth ₹80,000, collectively valued at ₹20,80,000.

Further investigation is underway to trace other persons involved in the offence.

🔸 केबल चोरीचा कट उधळला — गुन्हेगारांवर कायद्याचा वचक कायम!

@SamtaNagarPS हद्दीतील अशोक नगर क्रॉस रोड क्र. ४, कांदिवली (पूर्व), मुंबई येथे एम.टी.एन.एल कंपनीच्या भूमिगत टेलिफोन केबल्स चोरीप्रकरणी १३ आरोपींना अटक करण्यात आली आहे.

सदर गुन्ह्यात एम.टी.एन.एल कंपनीच्या २०००-पेअरच्या ४ भूमिगत केबल्स, एकूण १५३ मीटर लांबीच्या व अंदाजे ₹९,००,५०० किंमतीच्या, चोरीस गेल्या होत्या. याप्रकरणी भारतीय न्याय संहिता, दूरसंचार अधिनियम, २०२३ तसेच सार्वजनिक मालमत्ता नुकसान प्रतिबंधक अधिनियम, १९८४ मधील संबंधित कलमांन्वये गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला आहे.

तपासादरम्यान गुन्ह्यात वापरण्यात आलेली ₹२०,००,००० किंमतीची जे.सी.बी मशीन व ₹८०,००० किमतीचे २ मोबाईल फोन, असा एकूण ₹२०,८०,००० किंमतीचा मुद्देमाल जप्त करण्यात आला आहे.

गुन्ह्यातील इतर आरोपींचा शोध सुरू असून पुढील तपास सुरू आहे.

🔸Samta Nagar Police bust milk adulteration racket; accused arrested red-handed!

The Detection Squad of @SamtaNagarPS raided a residence in Kandivali East and caught a 48-year-old man red-handed while adulterating branded milk with impure water for sale.

During the raid, 74 litres of adulterated milk bearing Amul and Gokul labels, along with adulteration material and counterfeit empty pouches, were seized.

A case has been registered under the BNS and the Food Safety and Standards Act, and the accused has been arrested.

Mumbai Police remains committed to protecting citizens from those who endanger public health.

🔸समतानगर पोलिसांकडून दुधात भेसळ करणाऱ्या रॅकेटचा पर्दाफाश; एका आरोपीला रंगेहात अटक!

नामांकित कंपन्यांच्या दुधाच्या पिशव्यांमध्ये अशुद्ध पाण्याची भेसळ करून विक्री करणाऱ्या एका ४८ वर्षीय इसमाला @SamtaNagarPS च्या गुन्हे प्रकटीकरण पथकाने छापा मारून रंगेहात पकडले.

कांदिवली (पूर्व) येथील राहत्या घरावर टाकलेल्या छाप्यात आरोपीकडून अमूल व गोकुळ कंपनीचे ७४ लिटर भेसळयुक्त दूध, भेसळ करण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य आणि दोन्ही कंपन्यांच्या बनावट रिकाम्या पिशव्या जप्त करण्यात आल्या आहेत.
आरोपीविरोधात भारतीय न्याय संहिता (BNS) आणि अन्न सुरक्षा कायदा मानके कायद्यांतर्गत गुन्हा दाखल करून त्याला अटक करण्यात आली आहे.

नागरिकांच्या आरोग्याशी खेळ करणाऱ्यांवर कठोर कारवाई करण्यासाठी मुंबई पोलीस कटिबद्ध आहेत!

🔸Cyber Police, West Region bust ₹1.67 crore cyber fraud; 7 accused arrested

The accused posed as police officials and intimidated the complainant using fake documents bearing the police logo and Supreme Court seal. Claiming that his bank accounts required verification, they placed him under a fake “digital arrest” and coerced him into transferring ₹1.67 crore to two bank accounts.

Cyber Police, West Region, Mumbai, arrested seven accused in connection with the fraud. Further investigation is underway.

Please note: There is no concept of a ‘digital arrest’. If you encounter such a scam, #Dial1930 or immediately reach out to your local police station.

🔸‘डिजिटल अरेस्ट’च्या नावाने ₹१.६७ कोटींची फसवणूक; ७ आरोपी अटकेत!

पोलिस अधिकारी असल्याचे भासवत आरोपींनी बनावट कागदपत्रे व सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाच्या शिक्क्याचा वापर करून तक्रारदाराला धाक दाखवला. बँक खात्यांच्या चौकशीचे कारण देत त्यास ‘डिजिटल अरेस्ट’च्या जाळ्यात अडकवून तब्बल ₹ १.६७ कोटी दोन खात्यांत वळते करण्यास भाग पाडले.

सायबर पोलीस, पश्चिम विभाग, मुंबई यांनी कारवाई करत ७ आरोपींना अटक केली. त्यांच्या ताब्यातून २७ मोबाईल, २ लॅपटॉप, ५ डिजिटल साईन डिव्हाईसेस आणि ६१३ सिमकार्ड जप्त करण्यात आले. ₹ ३४ लाखांची रक्कमही गोठवण्यात आली आहे.

लक्षात ठेवा: ‘डिजिटल अरेस्ट’ अशी कोणतीही कायदेशीर प्रक्रिया नाही. अशा प्रकारचा कॉल आल्यास घाबरू नका. १९३० वर संपर्क साधा किंवा जवळच्या पोलीस ठाण्यात तक्रार करा.
