@igp @kirawontmiss Even if he didn't, the resistance is less when completely submerged. Doing this in a race would be cheating. Iirc, swimmers are required to break the surface by 15 meters from the start of each turn.

@tsoding Ppl always told me not to squint for pictures cuz the flash will make you blink and close your eyes. Easier to keep them open if they're wide open. That's the only related explanation I heard on the topic growing up there.
