@MaidstoneLibDem Will @MaidstoneLibDem respect the Lenham Neighbourhood Plan that was supported by 92% of residents, makes provision for over 1,000 new homes over the next ten years but specifically protects our countryside from over-development such as the @maidstonebc Heathlands ‘new town’?
Thanks to all the drivers on the A20 who hooted in support of our objections to the daft plan for a new town at #LenhamHeath during the @maidstonebc & @HomesEngland "consultation" (which had to be organised by @SOHeathLands in #Lenham last night after MBC's own poor attempts)

Confirmed tonight that @maidstonebc have called in PR experts @WeAreFabrick to manage the failing Heathlands project. They are experts in crisis comms and lobbying. £23,000 is the cost of the first commission.
Maidstone taxpayers’ money being used to lobby Maidstone taxpayers.
Landowners are demanding proof @maidstonebc has excluded them from a scheme to create a garden village of 4,000 homes near #Lenham https://t.co/GBzbpsS4IJ
