👉In the meantime, in line with my promise to look at how we can use the series to support charities, I will soon announce a short window in which I will give passes to watch all six episodes (one hour plus director’s cut episodes) in exchange for donations to good causes associated with angling. I have to work out the details but I will do that in the coming days...
PRIMARY FOCUS will be on @Giraffesontour which is the charity that provided our series mascot, Geoffrey, who raises funds for G.O.S.H.
I have also received quite a lot of comments about fighting pollution and for this reason will add @FishLegal_ donations to the list.
We may also be able to help mental health initiatives that involve angling. It all depends on how popular this is.
IN SUMMARY - I will swap season passes for charity subscriptions and donations for a limited window. Details to follow...

If the scheme went ahead it would have set a worrying precedent for rivers nationwide...

✅ Penny Gane of @fishlegal_ delivers the good news to Martin Smith, Honorary Secretary of the Pickering Fishery Association that they have won a court case mandating the UK government to clean up rivers nationwide.

💧 The Court of Appeal upheld a ruling that the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) failed in its legal duty to protect waterways, specifically citing the pollution of the Upper Costa Beck in North Yorkshire.

🙌It's a huge win for rivers and anglers as this decision compels the government to implement specific measures to restore the health of rivers across the country.
