State Police is about bringing security closer to the people, improving response times, and addressing local threats more effectively.
For a safer Nigeria, let's support State Police.
Reason why we call him the father of modern Nigeria 🇳🇬 👇
Our revenue was weak—he introduced tax reforms.
Students were dropping out—he introduced a student loan scheme.
Grassroots development was being neglected—he fought for local government autonomy.
Insecurity was ravaging communities—he introduced state policing.
Fuel subsidy was crippling the economy—he removed it.
Multiple exchange rates were distorting the market—he unified the FX system.
States were struggling financially—he increased allocations to them.
You may not like him, but he confronted the problems.
If your preferred candidate were President, what specific reforms would they have implemented differently or better?

We went to Ebonyi state and spent 3 days inspecting FG and the most of their commissioners were queuing up to show us what their offices have done in Ebonyi state under the leadership of Rt Hon Francis Nwaifuru.
We got into Enugu state, stayed 2 days and the SSG was with us all through with succinct explanations with any commissioner who is responsible for the supervising of any project.
We came into Abia state, met a fanfare spent less than 24 hours and they showed us most of their state projects on a big screen ie 3D because there was nothing physically to show.
Later you will tell me to rate Alex Otti higher than Peter Mbah and Francis Nwaifuru.

Hungry nation since 1960...
Every year Nigerians are hungry, people are hungry. Every developmental policy and National discussion gets drowned in hunger rhetoric.
However, the risks he highlighted are real: without ironclad safeguards independent service commissions, federal oversight, transparent funding, legislative checks on appointments, and strong human rights protections), governors could easily turn state police into tools for political vendettas, suppressing opposition, or settling scores , especially given Nigeria's history of abuse of power at all levels.
True progress means passing the bill with robust guardrails, not just creating another layer of potential oppression. We need professional, accountable policing that serves citizens, not politicians , whoever is in power today or tomorrow. The focus should be on implementation that protects everyone, including former governors and ordinary people returning home.
🚨🎙️ Thierry Henry quote on a Gyökeres–Álvarez swap deal
🗣️ "If you ask me whether Arsenal should swap Viktor Gyökeres for Julian Álvarez, I understand why people are talking about it. Álvarez is one of the most complete forwards in world football today. He can press, create, score, play between the lines and make everyone around him better. I've said before that I really like his game because he can do almost everything a modern number nine is asked to do."
"But football isn't played on paper. Gyökeres gives Arsenal something different — power, presence, aggression and goals. He's the type of striker defenders hate facing. If you're talking about a straight swap, I'd be very careful because you're not just exchanging players, you're changing the identity of your attack.
"Now, if Arsenal somehow ended up with Álvarez, every fan would be excited because he's a world-class talent. But my question would be: why give away a striker who has already proven he can lead the line for you? Great teams don't always replace quality with quality; sometimes they add quality to quality.
"For me, the dream scenario would be finding a way to have players of that level in the same squad. That's how title-winning teams become dynasty teams. If I were Arteta, I'd think long and hard before letting Gyökeres leave, even for a player as special as Álvarez."

Nigeria finally on its path to recovery... Enduring Prosperity is finally here.
Good Evening Severally...and may the harvest of our endurance be bountiful.
Nobody is asking him for details. To add 10,000MW he would need $30bn in investment over 4 years, in a highly illiquid sector, with $4bn legacy debt, 26% collection loss, 5.1m metering gap, tariff shortfall and gas shortages.
This is outside the messed up transmission that can barely wheel 6,000MW. How will he raise the money and what will he do with power tariffs and gas prices?
Nigeria's National Digital Alphanumeric Postcode System is officially scheduled to roll out its first phase in October 2026
The initiative represents a massive transition from Nigeria's legacy, purely numeric postcode system introduced back in 1986.
Core Features -
GIS-Enabled Precision: The new system uses Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping to link every single physical structure to precise map coordinates.
Universal Unique Codes: It assigns a unique, machine-readable alphanumeric code to every building in Nigeria, including properties located in rural communities.
Multi-Channel Access: Everyday citizens, logistics agents, and businesses will be able to retrieve and verify addresses via mobile applications and USSD channels.
Strategic Objectives -
Combating Insecurity & Fraud: The framework is designed to optimize policing, border control, financial crime investigations, and intelligence gathering.
Emergency Response Timelines: By eliminating vague, landmark-based navigation descriptions, the alphanumeric layout allows ambulances, fire services, and law enforcement to pinpoint exact crisis locations instantly.
E-Commerce & Logistics Savings: NIPOST estimates that difficulties with locating vague addresses cost the Nigerian economy between ₦50 billion and ₦80 billion annually in failed or missed deliveries. An AI-powered routing engine will be integrated to cut down delivery times.
It took us 30 years to get here. Kudos to the NIPOST team.
@fimiletoks This guy did more for the election of PBAT than most of you guys, allow him to vent his disappointment, not everything is about Buhari or North.
So Donald trump shut down a journalist from CNN from questioning him cos according to him they are always fond of spreading fake news
If u try this in Nigeria they will say u are suppressing the media and not willing to answer the public
But come to think of it
If CNN is reporting fake news according to trump what do we say Nigerian media houses are reporting
@Mautiin01@woye1
Am waiting for a day a politician will be bold enough to shut some journalist like this in Nigeria
We have along way to go in Nigeria aswear
