Sometimes I lose hope in life. But when I remember the Book of Jeremiah, which reminds us that we are in this world for a purpose, I take it easy and trust in God.
Before you go to bed tonight, remember this: Nothing kills you more than your own mind. Stop stressing over things you can’t control. Breathe. Let your mind rest. You’re going to be okay, I promise.
Every morning, when you leave your house, know that you will meet people who are
• Abusive
• Provocative
• Reckless
People who are ready to ruin your day.
They are miserable people unleashing their misery on you so that you become like them.
Refuse to respond to them.
Almighty. Calm our troubled hearts. Let peace and tranquility reign once again. There’s so much noise and confusion around. It’s easy to be distracted and lose focus. Many useless things demand our attention. Guide us. Keep us firm in faith; always close to You. Aameen.
We struggle so much to better a life that when the time to take it comes, you will not be notified. It will be taken without your consent. Then you will be returned to either of the lives which you were told about but you hate it while you were living in the life that you love.
I think people underestimate how much of a luxury it is to genuinely like your normal day. not the holiday, not the birthday, not the reservation. literally thursday
Measuring your progress against others is a sure fire path to constant disappointment. Measure your progress against where you started, where you’ve been, where you were yesterday. It’s far more rewarding and informative to evaluate yourself against yourself.
When you meet old classmates, many want to know what you're doing now—not always because they care, but to measure how far you've come. Sometimes, they're simply trying to decide whether to respect you, admire you, or look down on you.
A woman leaving you because of struggles is understandable there’s no glory in suffering together. But trying to win that same woman back after you become financially stable is mental illness
