ARENA has announced funding to @SolarAnalytics to develop an online consumer smart energy tool called “Solar Maximiser” that provides households with an economic assessment of potential consumer energy resources (CER) investment decisions.

You seriously can't make this stuff up! 3 top Labor ministers responsible for making the RULES for mining companies literally went to WORK directly for them just weeks after leaving government. If you can't call this bare faced flat out corruption, what can you call it? #Auspol
U.S. thin-film module manufacturer Sunflare is ramping up production of solar panels designed for weight-constrained rooftops. The products are 75% lighter than conventional crystalline solar panels and 95% thinner. Read more here 👉 https://t.co/mJqkGQyX26
@KiwiEV One of our best investments. Cost 4yrs ago in Australia was $8.5k for 12.8kw system, it has already saved us $12.2k. Combined with an EV it’s just brilliant. Shout out to @SolarAnalytics for their monitoring and ROI tracking system, it’s been fantastic.
Outstanding analysis by @GabrielleKuiper once again. 100% agreee that ALL Hot Water Systems sold in Australia should be required to be able to be dynamically managed - cheapest battery around. https://t.co/gimPr38LV2
Very disturbing pattern of Facebook removing clean energy posts on Australia’s leading renewal energy news outlet @renew_economy
This is a must read piece. https://t.co/UrOuRHXNWS
New analysis reveals rooftop solar systems would need to be switched off in Queensland to make room in the grid for a nuclear power station. The Conservation Council says the findings prove the state won't need nuclear energy. https://t.co/5IS2nSphRF @rosannakingsun#7NEWS
@eevblog@IanSJohnston We cant get data from PVOutput, but we can monitor all of your solar systems and energy usage (for any solar inverter combination). We can also get your retail energy meter data using CDR - so your energy tariff is automagically updated - easier for us to get you the best plan
@eevblog We are seeing more communications hassles with Telstra shutting down their 3G network. Unfortunately the 4G network does not have as good range. If you get repeated drop outs we can provide a hi-gain antenna,
@eevblog@eevblog your @SolarAnalytics is back up and working (assuming I am looking at the right site). What a nightmare installation experience. Make sure you update the configuration data once your system is working properly so we can accurately monitor your system
Thing is Dick, you were wrong then and are even more wrong now. The Fed gov has commissioned multiple reports into energy, and both the Howard and Morrison reports concluded Wind + Solar is much cheaper.
I've placed this ad in The Australian & AFR. Years ago I ran an ad re Australia needing to go to nuclear submarines. The Coalition changed its policy & had support from the opposition who I was told would not support nuclear submarines. Now we have to consider nuclear power.
I'm looking to speak to anyone who currently works on or has previously worked onboard a holiday cruise ship that makes port in Australia. For a story I'm working on @choiceaustralia. Send me a DM or email [email protected]
A big beat-up today about needing gas for electricity in the future.
Lets have a look at the amount of electricity from gas AEMO says we need in perspective.
I've pointed to it in red because its so small you can hardly make it out.
Extraordinary that they’re throwing the book at whistleblower @Richard_D_Boyle while the PwC partners who leaked tax office secrets to their clients escape unscathed. https://t.co/lW0TlqmWyn
@elonmusk This I wholeheartedly agree with. Not only for any political party, but for any person period. The world is not made up of "good" people and "bad" people, we all do some good and some bad.
The political party I support aligns closest with my values, and will do the most "good".
In case you think from Richard Flanagan's nauseating book, Toxic: The Rotting Underbelly of the Tasmanian Salmon Industry, that this is only an Australian problem, here's the Canadian critique:
