This is not a cope post.
You may disagree with my POV. We all enter this space at different times and with different expectations. I get that.

That being said, I see an overall sense of disappointment in crypto. Guys who held strong are now losing faith after years of manipulation and failed promises. Admittedly I am one.

Few want to “invest” what remaining funds they have and even fewer are putting new money into the system.

Desperate gasps of activity such as @wolfswapdotapp Wolfies cling to once was. I personally admire the efforts but they are no game changers. We convince ourselves we can will our way back to the glory days.

“Just PUUSH harder”
“Hold conviction”
“Market your product more”
“Collab with others”

All efforts seem futile and sink more $ into the pockets of those that really control the chains and their native tokens.

I dreamed crypto would be different.
I wanted it to be different. We all did.

But we need to wake up to the truth. This space and the blockchains we put our trust in are not what we thought they were. It is not decentralized. They are control and manipulate on the highest levels and we are at their mercy.

I loved #Cronos. Dead Beat Dads and everything I created was built on the principles of having fun and laughing at the ridiculousness of it all. It is now turned into something much greater and I am truly proud of what has been accomplished in 3 years and the group of friends I’ve made along the way. Not only that, I stood up for @EbisusBay and what @0xschwiz was building in the face of adversity. I have no regrets.

Alas the wake up moment was when few followed my lead to promote what I felt is a pillar of the #CRO Defi community (❤️ EB). Many just wanted to copy @wolfswapdotapp since they were the ones getting the attention of @cronosapp and @mircroz.

I finally saw the impossible barrier for Defi projects on Cronos with the release of Ryoshi Royale @ryoshiwithknife and the lack of effort by Cronos to amplify one X post for our community. Along with that, there was no response on their reason or how we could work together to get amplification on any future post.

It isn’t about how hard you try. My communities knows I did and I did it for years.

It isn’t about the marketing because I created countless videos, GIFs, memes and content.

It isn’t about the product because I know for a fact that Ryoshi Royale and DBD Fantasy Football are some of the best built indie games on the chain.

It is about the gatekeepers. The ones controlling the chains. The CEXs. The powerful. Even the governments.

As long as you understand and accept that, then you will not be disappointed in crypto and in Cronos. But if you entered this space years ago, you likely don’t. Instead you now mourn for what was and lost hope with what will be.

My apologies for the long post. It helps to get these thoughts out.

Like @kristokencro stated, true builders will build even if there is nobody watching. I am one. I will build and remain loyal to the three communities I am part of @WhosurdaddyCRO @ryoshiwithknife @EbisusBay

But I am no longer loyal to #CRO
They must earn my loyalty now.

Lastly I respect all Founders on this chain for what you do.
