In under a week we've donated $236,800. With @MagicEden_NFT donating an additional $42,000 it puts us at $278,800. All to crypto advocacy efforts. Cubes for good. @FTX_Official auction coming soon can we get to 1m?
@BrettRichey@lordsigma May be time to give Solana NFTs another shot. Happy to chat. The same features that make it user friendly and easy to use make it an easy space for scammers and bad actors as well.
@V_For_Vall @Solens_io @MagicEden_NFT Do you think SMBs and DAAs should be re-minted? A bug that can be (is) fixed is not the same thing as an exploit. You came up with a baseless assumption that I refuted and now you're coming up with another. Again, do you understand how any of this works?
@V_For_Vall @Solens_io @MagicEden_NFT Do you understand how the protocol works? People can get scammed via any trade because anyone can mint an NFT with any image if you're not looking at the metadata or the mint hashes.
@frosecold@LoganJastremski First one was a bug that was fixed. Similar to countless bugs that were fixed on Bitcoin or Ethereum. You can't forget about the ETH DDoS issues. The Wormhole hack was a smartcontract bug not attributed to Solana. It could've happened on Etherum or any other chain.
@V_For_Vall @Solens_io @MagicEden_NFT Explain why they need to be re-minted? CM equivalent account wouldn't sign any clones and there's a public hash list. It's a bad look for @Solens_io for the way they handled the situation to pump up their own launchpad. Companies need to work together to help the end users.
Itβs sad to see some @solana NFT marketplaces trying to drag each other down instead of trying to compete on quality and features. This is a bad look for the ecosystem. We can all do better. Use this as an opportunity to work together for all users.
@barelooksrare @Solens_io @MagicEden_NFT Nothing wrong with doing that from your personal account. When itβs one wannabe marketplace throwing shade at another, it makes the whole ecosystem look bad.
@salomondrin@hyperspacexyz I'm not dissing the UX or the execution. I don't like the race to the bottom with the fees. We've seen it in other verticals. This never ends well for the end users and discourages competition.
